So Gavaskar on air Day 3 morning trolled the hell out of those complaining about the pitch, saying you've got learn to bat against spin and maybe the English spinners weren't as good as their Indian counterparts. He also added, if you want the ball to come straight, go play indoor cricket :)))

Anyway, that reminded me of Ashwin post-Day 2:

“When it comes to spin, they want conditions to be in their favour, be it driving or cutting. On a seaming wicket, you can’t do all that when you play in the morning. So the same benchmarks must be set when you play spin on a challenging wicket,” said Ashwin

“I would say that the challenges are far greater when the ball is moving at 140-150 kph off the deck compared to a ball spinning at 85-90 kph,” he said.

If you watch the video, Ashwin was fair to the England cricket team saying he hadn't heard any of them complain and that they'd played quite well so far in the two tests.

So basically, English media, commentators and a few non-British others :uak can be quiet please.
