Champions Trophy 2017: Lack of Killer instinct?

What has happend to the good old killer instinct? I have watched some matches where teams have lost 3-4 early wickets but after that you see good and long partnerships.
Could be mix of defensive captaincy and ball getting in bad shape early or just good batting?

Maybe there is a lack of killer instinct. I think that teams which get those 3-4 early wickets start to slack off(lose their focus)
