From two match of CT we can see how rubbish batting pitch ICC has made. Nothing for any kind of bowlers.

We can decide from now on

1. Toss win and bowling= Match win as you have a target and you can play accordingly to get there and no need to worry about any bowling.

2. Batting powerhouses are going to next round.

Any thoughts????

Toss does not really matter.

What matters is whether the batting team is able to score over 350 consistently or not.

If your team scores in excess of 350 consistently, more often than not, your team will be on the winning side.

Yesterday, BD chickened and never really accelerated. The way England played, they would have chased 350 with ease.

Any team that wants to be safe should look to score 375.

Pathetic pitches.Australian bowling attack is considered the best in the world but still they are being hammered.
After watching Australian bowlers being smashed by New Zealand,I think Pakistani bowlers did well against England in the last summer.

Toss doesn't matter, India vs England Series, 2 matches in odi and t-20 ( 3 match series) were won by batting first .

IPL pitches were more sporting than this.

When excellent bowling attacks like Australia are being carted around it highlights just how distorted the balance has become between bat and ball in ODI.

Tbf I would open a thread about a similar subject if my team got absolutely walloped too.

On the subject on hand, unfortunately this is the era of batsmen. Bowling is slowly-but-surely getting to a point where the bowlers are happy with going for 8-9 an over now.

Everything is geared up for the batting side, and that's a real shame because I grew up with bowlers like Imran, Wasim, Waqar and then later on Saqlain and Shoaib.

It's the way it is now, and these pitches in the CT have be tailor-made for big big scores.

Tbh T20s throughout the world. IPL BPL Cpl PSL all have much more sporty wickets
