This is a non serious thread.

My father is almost a coffee addict and he can't live without a coffee. In fact, everyone in my family loves to drink coffee but I'm probably the odd one out as I prefer tea to coffee.

I wanted to know which beverage the majority in PP prefer?

Tea - Once a day in the morning. I still haven't tried coffee yet. Maybe, I will try in the next 5 or 6 years. I think that you have to be a certain age to try coffee.

Chai. I drink it like 3-4 times a day.Yes in this scorching may heat.Love it

For me its only when I have to kick into overdrive, and then I go for black. (Coffee or tea depends upon the quality available at that time). No Sugar!

Interesting map on this subject:

Consumption of either depends on your geographical location. In counties where winter is long and brutal using coffee makes more sense.

On contrary, it baffles me to see people have coffee in places like Karachi, where temperature is usually HOT (above 35-36 normally). That's why many prefer tea, except some 'burgers'.

Coffee or tea has nothing to do with extreme winters or summers?

Coffee must be popular in Americas. But tea being popular in Asia and parts of Africa has anything to do with the colonial influence?

Not mint tea, it was popular among East Asian, Afghans, Arabs etc... long before that.

Chai, as in tea with milk, on the other hand, it's possible.

What I wrote is purely based on what have notices over the years and self-experience.

Have a cup of tea vs. coffee in 40+ temperate and judge yourself.

Coffee and Tea have similar temperatures. Chai (not cava) wasn't consumed in Pakistan until 100 years ago when the British wanted to sell the tea they were producing in India to compete with Chinese. Stop taking yourself so seriously, you don't have to judge what other people are doing because you are proud of artificial traditions.

I swear, every person using the word ''burger'' turns out to be the most ignorant douche around.

The effects are the same bro!
Its like people picking Coke over Pepsi. Branding matters!

Coffee for me - I partake of it three times a day, because it is medicinal (j/k) :)

Yo endy what's with these more aggressive posts now a days?

Neither coffee nor tea nor any other warm beverage.

I live in a place where everyone is crazy for coffee. Also a teetotaler so just cant seem to fit in. Sonay pay sohaga, soft drinks bhi pasand nahi hain.

Some people just aren't made to socialize.

Make a cult surely people will join, "A club for non-drinkers"

Streety are u tamilian really?Tea???

I drink green tea but i try to put in a coffee if i have additional work,if not pass on that!

Well made tea beats coffee for me. The choice of herbs you can add to your tea gives it a whole new dimension.

Everyone in Chennai (above 40+ temp) have coffee not because of the climate but because its a way of life also helps giving the extra kick to study.(Its not the Star Buck coffee but something called filter Coffee famous in South India).

In India tea or coffee have plain nothing to do with temperature not sure about other regions.

I don't even know what that is and you're asking us not to google it. You want me to start a thread about it?

Sure go ahead!! Just make it more generic... One post answer thread is not something we are looking for? :D

Tea in the morning only, with breakfast.

Not getting much these days. :/

Toffee. :mushy

But tbh don't drink coffee much until I slept late and have class early morning with a test. Then will get french vanilla.

I'm more of a Frappuccino guy, esp the mocha variety :liam

can't survive without a flat white in the morning altho it does cause me constipation :danish

Ain't no day complete without a Timmy double-double.
I was completely ecstatic when I found a Timmy while on a visit to NYC. Made my day.

You will find Tim Horton's in New York and Philadelphia, goes extinct from then on :farhat

Though I think Starbucks is classier albeit more expensive :liam

Coffee is drink of men with class and who like to spend time with beautiful nerdy women.

Cafe Coffee day or Starbucks is classy... hmm .. noted :P

Recall any movie, only the badass character with suit and tie drinks coffee. The paindu living in a 1 room flat and mid life crisis is the one drinking chai from a loser cup and hello kitty tray.

Ive been drinking lemon green tea lately

But chai is love
