New Delhi: Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA) chairman Vallabhbhai Kathiria unveiled a ''chip'' made of cow dung and claimed that it reduces radiation from mobile handsets and it will be a safeguard against diseases.

Speaking at the launch of a nationwide campaign ''Kamdhenu Deepawali Abhiyan'', which is aimed at promoting cow dung products, Vallabhbhai Kathiria said: "Cow dung will protect everyone, it is anti-radiation... It is scientifically proven...This is a radiation chip that can be used in mobile phones to reduce radiation. It will be safeguarded against diseases.

The ''chip'', named Gausatva Kavach, is manufactured by Rajkot-based Shrijee Gaushala. Set up in 2019, the RKA aimed at the conservation, protection, and development of cows and their progeny. The Aayog, which comes under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, has started a nation-wide campaign to encourage the use of cow dung-based products during festivals.

Vallabhbhai Kathiria further appealed to people to avoid using China-made diyas this Diwali, stating that the campaign launched by the RKA will also boost the ''Make in India'' concept of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ''swadeshi movement''.

And this RKA comes under the tutelage of the establishment. But when the head himself is illiterate and espouses his own bigotry under the garb of Hindutva, this is what you'll get.

This is some random village festival in Karnataka. Nobody fights with Gobar in India. Every country has some weird stuff like this in some remote part of their country.

My concern is people believing in healing powers of Cow urine and Dung and selling it as a medicine or cure for diseases in this day and age. Government not doing anything about is disgusting. There should be ban on stupidity.
 
To be honest, if cow dung can reduce radiation from mobile phones, there is probably a high chance horse dung could do the same. If we have any faecial microbe specialists on PP they could probably advise if that is the case.

Cow dung and urine can cure cancer, diabetes, High blood Pressure and every ailment that is known to man. You just have to ask the stupid selling it to poor gullible Hindu on the street.

It seems in our culture, the solution to everything is, "let's Go back to our roots". Hindu culture has its own medicine and it uses cow urine and dung for their so called medicinal properties.

The more we go back to our roots, the backward the people appear.

Tulsi plant has some medicinal properties that can heal soar throat and help some minor allergies. But saying that it can stop radiation, cure cancer etc is ridiculous. These Babas say anything to sell their products to sheeple.

I use Tulsi leaves in my tea and it helps with sore throat. It also adds nice flavor to the tea.

Making a series of startling claims, a minister from Uttar Pradesh has said that cancer patients can cure themselves by cleaning cowsheds and lying in them, and the dosage of blood pressure medicines can be cut in half within 10 days by petting cows and serving them.

The minister also urged people to celebrate their marriage anniversaries and their children's birthdays in cow shelters.

Sanjay Singh Gangwar, the junior minister for sugarcane development, made the remarks while addressing people during the inauguration of a cow shelter in Pakadia Naugawan in his constituency of Pilibhit on Sunday.

Speaking in Hindi, the minister said, "If there is a blood pressure patient... there are cows here. The person should pet a cow on its back every morning and evening and serve it. If the person was taking a 20 mg dose of medicine for blood pressure, it would come down to 10 mg within 10 days. This is a tested thing that I am telling you."

"If a cancer patient starts cleaning a cowshed and lying there, even cancer can be cured. If you light cow dung cakes, you get relief from mosquitoes. So, everything that a cow produces is useful in some way," he claimed.

Speaking to reporters later, he said he has urged people to celebrate their marriage anniversaries and the birthdays of their children in cow shelters and also donate fodder.

This guy probably pulled in more votes than ZN could ever hope to scrape up the audience together in Pakistan. And let’s be honest, he’d likely rack up even more support if he so much as hinted at offending Indian Muslims. But had he uttered the word ‘Pakistan’, Oh, well then, his entire base would be queuing up to crown him the next Prime Minister of India.

Might sound funny or gross to people today but this is something our wise ancestors figured out way before modern chemistry lead to the invention of wall emulsions and it probably still holds some value to remote rural areas where regular paint jobs might not be possible due to funds issues or just general hurdles you find in our corrupt society.

Through these things our ancestors managed to build homes that stayed cool in summer, warm in winter, and didn’t fall apart in the rains. That’s no small thing.

They don't just throw cow dung on the wall like that, they mix it with mud or lime before applying. Its anti bacterial, keeps insects and mosquitos away as well,

I wouldn't try it myself but if village people can find cheap solutions to take care of infra, who am i to judge.

In some rural areas of Pakistan it is used as fuel but nevertheless it really weird to see this indian university lecturer dip her hand into poo and paint walls with it. There seems to be a religious element to her actions.

Cow dung has been used as fuel in India for centuries. They make cakes by dry it on the walls and then burn them to cook food.
Cow has a lot of significance in Indian culture. But these Hindu organizations that seem to be coming up everywhere are an embarrassment to the original culture. They claim that it even cures covid and cancer. Absolutely zero proof. Gullible fools will be buying their products in the hopes of miracle.
