I'll start off with mine and it has to be the Etihad Abu Dhabi to Dallas Business class flight that I flew when returning from Pakistan last year.

Originally I had booked a basic economy ticket but I was feeling very tired during my short stay in Pakistan so took my chance and made a bid for a few extra bucks for a business class seat. Alhumdullilah I was absolutely thrilled when I got the seat!

The experience really begins at the Abu Dhabi airport where I passed US Customs and Immigration IN Abu Dhabi (only one of 2 airports to do that - with the other being Dublin, Ireland) and so I was treated as a domestic passenger from that point onwards.

Got to stay in the business class lounge for about an hour and it was definitely very luxurious! Great food and snacks and being in Abu Dhabi - I did not have to worry about dietary restrictions or anything like that. It had very comfortable seats and the receptionist came and informed me when my flight was about to board and even escorted me to the gate!

The flight was amazing too with a full lie-in flat seat that turned into a bed along with a 17" screen that had an assortment of movies and TV shows. There was free WiFi and inbuilt charging stations as well. Needless to say - the extra space and the bed was definitely the best part about flight as I slept like a baby for 15 hours of the 16 hours of the flight lol. The food was top quality too as I remember enjoying a shrimp biryani in the flight. There was also a variety of drinks. smoothies and snacks for me to enjoy.

Super glad I payed a little bit of extra money for a fantastic experience.

I fly dozens of times every year, but my most comfortable flight in recent times was on Jet Airways Singapore to Mumbai in September last year. I had gone to Singapore with my girlfriend to catch the F1 and enjoy a nice holiday.

The return was on a Sunday morning at 11 AM so we were well rested and ready to head back. Imagine our delight when the cabin was nearly empty! There were barely 50 or so pax throughout the 777-300ER, which felt like being in a cave.

We stretched out across a couple of rows of seats; while she dozed off, I powered up my GameBoy and whiled away the time with old school Pokemon Blue!

Made for a nice change from the frenetic domestic hops that I do regularly.

I also keep an eye out for Air India and Jet Airways deploying widebodies on domestic sectors. Summer 2017 saw Jet fly the A330-200 daily on Mumbai - Bangalore - Mumbai and I was happy to upgrade to the herringbone J cabin with pizzas served to top it off!

Oh nice!

Do you travel internationally regularly?

Oh awesome! Glad you have had good experiences when flying :)

It's a good thing you upgraded to business class cause Etihad economy class is just crap.

Around 5 international flights for every 20 domestic flights.

If you don't mind me asking - do you usually pay for your flights or try to use reward flights based on miles you've accumulated?

I'm Jet Platinum and I travel a lot for work and leisure, so I earn and burn miles at the same time. I also have Credit and Debit Cards that earn me miles which proves handy over time.

How on earth did you manage to enjoy food, 17 inches screen, wifi etc when you slept almost 94% of your flight duration. Almost like asking mangoes how they did experience their flight from Islamabad/Lahore to Manchester with PIA.

I probably exaggerated when saying I slept 15 hours straight lol but I did sleep for the majority of the journey as I was extremely tired and the flat lie seat was too good to resist haha.

Dinner was served only like an hour after take off. Used the wifi and stuff towards the end when we were about to land - asked a air hostess to bring me a smoothie when I woke up so that was cool.

Emirates Business, but that is the only Business Class I have flown.

@ms314 you should also ask Brock Lesnar this question :))

Just flew from DXB to Toronto in Emirates Business Class. That also because of my Sciatica Back Issue, would never have gotten the chance to fly Business Class otherwise

Oh nice!

Did you pay upfront for the business class seat or requested to be upgraded?

How was your experience on the business class flight, lounges, check in etc?
