Took a 4fer in the first innings and looked better than the England’s front line seamers.
In second innings WI was 27-3 after 11.3 overs and Campbell was also retired hurt at that time. Stokes didnt come to bowl and almost 13 overs later bowled 4 overs (Over 25, 27, 29 and 31) and then 6 overs from 53 overs and a onwards and took two key wickets.
I understand he is an allrounder and has to manage his workload but this was the last innings of the test, so shouldnt he have bowled more than just 11 overs out of 64 overs especially when WI was under pressure and when he was the best pacer for Eng in the first innings?
Even if he wanted to bowl at the crucial ending moments, didn’t he save himself for too late then he should have (With only 36 runs to play with he bowled his 7 overs out of the total of 11 overs?
