In the last 10 plus years the team has been through numerous captains and coaches.
Captains: Misbah ul Haq, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez, Azhar Ali, Babar Azam
Coaches: Mohsin Khan, Waqar Younis, Dav Whatmore, Mickey Arthur, Misbah ul Haq, Saqlain Mushtaq
We now even have a PCB Chairman harping about aggressive, modern cricket.
All the above have constantly kept harping about the need to play aggressive, positive, modern cricket. We even saw Saqi put that poster up in the dressing room repeating the same thing.
But the only thing constant is Pakistani batsmen coming out to bat and scoring at 1-2 runs per over.
At some point we have to stop blaming the coaches and even the chairman and ask questions as to why are the Pakistani players addicted to batting in a slow manner?
Players who habitually don't follow instructions and play opposite to the teams needs and interest? Should they not be benched permanently?
