Some of the Jama'ats are very much popular in Pakistan, I've seen people donating to them in millions. Call it weakness of Imaan or Hindu traits of 'paap dhuai' by doing annual donation, but this has been immensely prolific for various religious organizations working in Pakistan for decades.

We saw one very recently, backed by elements from establishment. But it makes me wonder about the actual amount they spend over positive activities vs amount kept for such purposes, let alone the record of incoming/outgoing donations.

Is there any law to govern their finances? or its a free-ticket umbrella one step ahead of NGOs?
