[PICTURES] The 'NOT SO' serious side of the Wing Commander Abhinandan situation

Make no mistake, this whole thing is very serious with lives being lost but in the midst of all this, we have some funny stuff floating around so we will share some

Some guidelines

1. No abuse in pics
2. No graphic pics
3. No Watermarks or plugs for makers of the pics

This is not a meme but source from Twitter - just the awkwardness of the situation makes it funny in my view

Guys lets keep this for funny stuff - too much serious things being discussed as is in other threads - thanks.

Have no doubt about it. Being a Punjabi i can assure you this. Doesn't matter if its other side of Punjab.
You will never get disappointed of the hospitality of these people. You give some love. They will give back more love with interest.

Poor guy must be in more mental stress back home to change his statements. Judging by the smile he enjoyed his stay may have even added the Pak soldiers on Facebook and whatsapp.

How's the JOSH?!...

Sorry major I am not supposed to tell you that....

Pak has taken care of him like professionals. No hate, no nothing at all. Hrithik Roshan tweeted how brave his soldier appeared to which Pakistanis replied it was because he knew he was in safe hands.

Abhi's wife : "who was that mysterious lady that dropped u off at the border?"

Abhi: "I'm not supposed to tell you that"

Of all the hundreds of people who died in this conflict, thus guy emerged as the face of it. Survived plain clash, survived angry mob upon landing, even Pakistani army took care of him. Damn it. This guy wrote his own destiny it seems.

Someone post the AbhiLondon Nawaz Shareef pic :))

Not sure which one you are referring to but this is pretty hilarious:

Mein bhi pilot hoon mughay bhi raha kiya jaye - Abhi ganjan :uakmal:maqsood

ever since Pakistan destroyed 2 Indian planes and captured an intruder, all the satire content that is created on social media were about Abhinandan and stuff related to Adnan Sami, Imran Khan and even our very own AbhiLondon(Nawaz Shareef)

Now as the content creators have diverted their attention, it seems as if our attention has also been diverted from PSL. A few of my friends havent watched the last few PSL games and i aswell havent watched them either. And one of the main reasons is because of the lack of memes that are being generated.

Hence, do memes really influence our watching behavior?

If so, i think this is a very interesting thing that PSL could tap into future to boost its ratings. Maybe even have its own unofficial meme pages

Meme’s are linked to something very important

I guess the recent clash on the border overtakes the T20 circus quite easily

You might want to tune in now with Misbah batting :misbah2

:))) :)))

On topic, i think it depends on the person.

I personally enjoy tasteful memes and have enjoyed the ones in the aftermath of the Indo-Pak stuff. It hasn't influenced my viewing behavior as such.

Meme situation is lit right now....

pakistani memebaazi has been quality, it is greatly improved by the sensitivity of the those said memes are aimed at.

Of course, its a modern mean of communication... There are pages dedicated to memes only on socail media and some of the are extremely hilarious....

Sometimes, this is the easiest way to bully people into submission

I know it influences people, some more some less. Some are like modern day political cartoons, high quality and can deliver a real message in just a pic, so I think they are good as long as they are done with intelligence and some sensitivity
