Do you back Pakistan to chase around 300 in 48 overs?

Nothing in the pitch. 330 a par score so far in this tournament. White kokaburra ball negating swing and overcast conditions. Not such spin either.
If we score 25 off 6 overs without losing a wicket then match on.
My biggest worry is the death bowling of Bumrah and Bhuveshnar.

Also, One of Hefeez, Azhar or Shehzad has to fire today.

Can we do it?

Umeed pe Dunya Qaim hai. Excellent batting conditions, but can the team handle the pressure of an Indo-Pak contest? On prior evidence, very unlikely.

Nothing to do with pressure, they just aren't good enough. It would take a century from one of their few quality batters like Babar to stand a chance.

Who says we're going to score 300?

Might be lucky to get 250-260 at this rate.

unless we get a Babar special or Malik can roll back the years vs India then we have no chance.

Too many wrist-slitters here - of course Pakistan can. Ground isn't huge, no demons in the pitch and you're facing the mighty Indian bowling line-up who concede 300+ on numerous occasions.

It is gettable. India were set for 320+ but I don't trust us to handle the pressure of this chase.

Paksitan will chase around 327 (d/l adjusted) in 48 overs which is around 340 in 50. tough ask though.

Yes we can!

It is a flat pitch and we bat deep.

Pakistan actually have a great opportunity here. They know what to go for, India didn't have this luxury.

Pak just needs to score at 7 an over and then hope rain strikes badly.

India is not out of the jail yet.

I don't. Pakistan need to win matches with their bowlers. Their batting depends on how well they restrict us or any one. Sri Lanka did this in last T20 WC. Their T20 team was nothing special, everyone was 50 over players but their bowling restricted opponents and allowed batting to play an easier inning.

Do you think Pakistan would've chased down 300 against India?

Obviously easier to judge in hindsight knowing the result now, but a lot of people thought 300 was par on this pitch. India plundered Pakistan for 72 in the last 4 overs, but had the Pakistani bowlers managed to keep them in check and India were restricted to about 270-300, do you think Pakistan would've been able to chase it?

I've never had faith in Pakistan's batting ever since I started following them over a decade ago.

No matter how much India scores, they will defend it against the current Pakistani batting lineup

The last time I felt confident PAK could chase down 300+ was when the middle order included Inzi and Yousuf.

This Pak team would have barely touched 200 let alone 300 given there quality.
