Do You Consider Hackers As Cowards?

Due to advancement of internet, hacking has become a serious issue. Many businesses/entities suffer worldwide due to these cyber troublemakers. I personally feel that black hat hackers are cowards and they don't have the guts to harm in real life.

Do you consider hackers as cowards? What kind of punishment do you think is appropriate for them?

They are criminals,punishment for them is 5 years prison.

I feel that's too light. They should receive something severe.

5 years in a western prison is like a vacation.
