Serious question? I was watching that game between Pindi and Peshawar and thought to myself. Had this been someone like Jasprit Bumrah or a prime Umar Gul bowling would Peshawar Zalmi have come close to chasing it?

What has happened to our stock of bowlers? To those who are available, why can’t they bowl well at the death of an innings? Lack of fitness or just genuine lack of ability ?

Terrible stuff at death from Amir and Nasim
Nasim is an average bowler in batting friendly surfaces but Amir has lost it too.

Already pointed this , our pace stocks are zero , henceforth the lax attitude of SSA Rauf , they are aware nobody is breathing at their neck

If I was in the Pindi managament would be half tempted to drop Amir and Naseem. Play all the young bowlers, what is the worst that could happen? You unearth a gem?

Play all the young bowlers

Naseem is 23 years old, Bumrah made his debut for India at the age of 22.

Imagine if India were to discard Bumrah at such a young age. I think we just have to stick with the likes of Naseem and Shaheen for the next 4-5 years where they should be at the peak of their careers.

Thing is Bumrah has remained decent throughout his career.

Naseem is cannon fodder

No way he is 23

No bowling IQ in any of our pacers. They all habitually vilt under pressure when attacked. You should have seen Shaheen's face when Shanaka was mauling him all over and to make it worse Shaheen had 28 runs to play with in that final over. Absolutely zero mental toughness and ability to handle pressure

Pakistan has no good death bowlers, no new ball bowlers, no good spinners, no good middle over bowlers, no good swing bowlers, no good fast bowlers, no good medium pacers..

we do have a shameless "Premium" fast bowler who gets smashed to all parts of the ground even by associate teams..

Bumrah didn't average 35 after playing 20 tests.

Naseem is one of the most experienced players in the current team, having played almost 100 international matches (91) in all formats.

And he still averages near 35 in both tests and t20s, in ODIs he started with a bang but has similar bad numbers in the last 2-3 years

He has been playing since 2019, that's 7 years ago, what improvement have you seen in him?

The only claim Naseem has is his obvious fake age, but how long will you carry him based on this claim and zero perfomance?

Pakistan hasn't produced any half decent bowler since Asif, death or not.
