Can't wait for the tests in 2020. Pakistan should've had a 5 match series somewhere in there too.

Any-who, I expect Pakistan to lose most of what they play except in WI. 2016 was their best chance at winning any series in over a decade and they way they blew that, I seriously don't expect them to win too much in the future. A complete overhaul is needed; something very much achievable but realistically speaking, I'm sure that PCB will not take the steps needed.

We'll still see Younis Khan, Sohail Khan, Hafeez and maybe even Misbah. So, I'm not expecting too much. Maybe a drawed series at best and even that's pushing it a little.

We can win or draw most of these series but we won't and we all know why. A little clue is in my signature.

WI : 2-1 win Pak
Eng: 1-0 Eng
SA: 3-0 SA
Aus: 3-0 Aus
NZ: 2-1 NZ
Eng: 2-1 Eng

The only place we can see draws are England. I can take any bet that in no place other than England will we see a draw.

1- Westindies ( 3 Tests ) - 2-0 Win
2- UK ( 2 Tests ) - 1-1
3- RSA ( 3 Tests ) - 2-1 Loss
4- Australia ( 3 Tests ) - 2-1 Loss
5- NZ ( 3 Tests ) - 2-1 Win
6- UK ( 4 Tests ) - 2-2
Considering that Sarfraz becomes captain with Misbah and Younis retiring by the end of the year and new fast bowlers and batsmen, who are performing in the First Class matches, are selected for the team.

the only problem is the selection, if fast bowlers and batsmen were selected on merit, Pakistan would give tough time to any opposition away from home, many fast bowlers are showing there talent but selectors are too hesitant to give them a chance and make poor excuses like they don't have express pace or they are not good enough even though they are getting tons of wickets.
If selectors stick with the current fast bowlers, Pakistan test team would only go downhill.

Lets be honest here! Pakistan seriously lack the bench strength to fill up a decent playing XI.

How many Pakistani players can find place in the playing XI of another team based on merit?

I doubt if PAK will win against current WI team, they have a good set of players and will be very competitive at home. Even ENG could not win a series last time they were there.

Can we have Ind vs Pak in UAE? :babar

I suppose not. 2012-2015 was the best time to have one. In fact, the best time was when Modi came to Pakistan. That was lovely for cricket fans. Now it doesn't seem possible. Never in a decade, at least.

We haven't won in the West Indies even though they have been woeful for years, I don't think that will change but I think Pakistan can get a draw out of it. With the England tour being early in the summer the conditions will be tough for batting. As for South Africa and Australia - virtually no chance. The best chance will be New Zealand but even then I think it will end in a loss for Pakistan.

1. Pakistan tour to Westindies ( 3 Tests )2017 - Draw 1-1
2- Pakistan tour to UK ( 2 Tests )2018 - Lose 2-0
3- Pakistan tour to RSA ( 3 Tests )2018-19 Lose 2-0
4- Pakistan tour to Australia ( 3 Tests )2019-20 Lose 3-0
5- Pakistan tour to NZ ( 3 Tests ) 2019-20 Lose 2-0
6- Pakistan tour to UK ( 4 Tests ) 2020 Lose 3-1

If you can manage a draw against Rabada and co. in S Africa, you should be able to draw anywhere in the world if not win.

not gonna compare Pakistani players with others when Pakistan have so many problems, you are Indian so you might not know about the domestic performers.
I mean for example, theres's a bowler Abbas, he the highest wicket taker of the last 2 Quaid e Azam trophies, first time in history that happened, and he is not even considered for a central contract eve, there's half a dozen more fast bowlers and batsmen who deserve a chance in the test side
selection (and to some extent man management) is the problem not the lack of talented players in Pak
