The final session was eventful, featuring 36 overs, 151 runs, and five wickets. By the end of Day Two, Pakistan held the advantage. In response to Pakistan's total of 366, England's openers began positively, as they often do. Duckett was involved in three consecutive half-century partnerships and showcased his skill with sweeps and reverse sweeps, ultimately scoring his fourth Test century.
England maintained a run rate of just over 5 RPO, but Sajid Khan turned the match on its head. After tea, he found more turn and bowled brilliantly, consistently tossing the ball up outside off, which paid off. Despite being swept by Pope, he stuck to that line and managed to bowl him through the gate. He dismissed Root using the same strategy; Root attempted to sweep but ended up dragging the ball onto his stumps. Sajid also induced Duckett's outside edge on multiple occasions, eventually having him caught at first slip for 114 runs. He then cleaned up Brook, the triple-centurion from the previous match, with a sharp off-break.
Noman Ali also joined in, claiming the wicket of Stokes. England's score plummeted from 211/2 to 225/6, losing four wickets for just 14 runs within 18 balls. The second half of the final session saw increased intensity, with Sajid particularly extracting significant spin. As the match progresses, batting is expected to become tougher, and England still trails by 127 runs.
