Pakistan need to score atleast 6 runs per over - and partnerships are the key.
We need a good start - Kamran has been struggling to score and imo 50 overs (even though this is 41 overs) suits Kamran's style of play well. And hopefully his brother Umar Akmal will also produce a special knock, the direct run out should give him confidence boost.
Tough chase for Pakistan - possibly but tough.. very tough.
Seriously, cut this crap negative crap out. Do you guys even know what the players are going through right now mentally? Cricket and Pakistani cricket has been ruined by what has happened over the past few weeks. And the Pakistani players are in the centre of it. Just be thankful that atleast they are playing. It would be a great achievement to even pull off a victory when you're scarred mentally like this.
Anyways. Back on topic.
We need a good start from the openers. Get us off to a flier and we have a chance.
Anderson to Asad Shafiq, FOUR
Anderson to Asad Shafiq, no run
Anderson to Asad Shafiq, no run, back of a length, just outside off stump. Kamran stands tall and forces to cover point
Anderson to Asad Shafiq, no run, fuller, but tight on off stump and Kamran steps forward to drive back to the bowler
Anderson to Asad Shafiq, no run, slightly zippier through the air and just a hint of away shape as Kamran is caught on the crease and defends to cover
Anderson to Asad Shafiq, no run, that's on target, on a length on off stump and Kamran punches into the covers
Anderson to Asad Shafiq, 1 wide, slightly wayward start as the ball doesn't swing either way but is arrowed just down the leg side haha cricinfo
Just read Rashid Latif's article on spot fixing... and there was talk about bowling a first ball wide... and both innings had a first ball wide in this match... damn man.. these ppl ruined cricket for me....
