Commiserations to brothers in Pakistan on this defeat but Bhaijaan suggests caution for Indian fans before they go crazy.
Sunny Gavaskar is a figure worth worshiping to me as an Indian fan but when i read him saying Pakistan held the edge tonight due to the CT final i just knew i had read the cliche before. One win and suddenly the losing side starts looking all dead and we are talking about form momentum and all that but we must realize it has meant very little in LOI encounters between the two sides over the years as every day truly is a new day and it is all about holding the nerves on that given day.
India were more composed today and it showed in the results. Things were opposite in the CT final where Indians totally lost their cool after Bumrah no ball anf Fakhar counter attack.
Now some fans will thing India starts favorite in the next encounter as momentum is with India now but it means nothing. India and Pakistan both start fresh in the next game and things might easily reverse.
Until then stay grounded and enjoy good cricket.
