Don’t drop the senior batters , they will try to hide away from the tough NZL series and come back in an easy home series. Rizwan asked for Khusdhil shah and he did well in champions trophy get him on board to NzL 😂😂.

And the captain himself we wanna see him dancing in his crease to put bat on ball. In T20s they get away unscathed, keep them in ODIs and see the tailunt

Babar can be dropped not a problem because he has already showcased his talent in tough NzL wickets , a time away from cricket would do good for him to regain his touch

Great suggestion, keep them in the squad...let the fail in one match and then replace with the new comers in the squad.

And Babar has been dropped from the T20 side now... Good.

Tbh i question if he is a modern ODI batsman. He was no 25 in the 2023 ODI WC in his prime and his form in test cricket is even worse. Utterly useless over rated batsman.

I have been watching cricket since 2000 and for me he’s the most overrated batsman of all time.

Overseas ex-players/pundits/commies along with Babar fans have a soft spot for him because he’s aesthetically pleasing to watch.

Forget Test Cricket, All the Big 4 batters i.e. Kohli, Root, Williamson, Smith have many great ODI hundreds, knocks where they have single handedly contributed to their teams winning or chasing big totals against some quality bowling attacks, something Babar has never done in his entire career barring that ODI 2019 knock against NZ

Yes, Babar doesn't have a single notable knock. That 2019 World Cup innings against New Zealand was decent but not special because Pakistan needed to chase that with more overs to spare because of the net run rate issue they had at the time.
