Junaid Khan is a very nice guy and good coach. Just hope that PCB don't terminate his contract before time.

Very nice guy and competent coach , and a very good bowling analyst which is a bit surprising, however got absolutely no clue about the batting failures in Pakistan at all levels. He wants more 4 day cricket and wanted batsmen to score 25 runs off 100 balls , that’s exactly was Shahzeb khan was doing in the worldcup, we want batters who take charge from the go an submit the bowlers in to bowling poor lines instead of pretty technique and defensive game.

Junaid Khan said a similar thing about Khurram SHahzad during that Australian tour that he would get injured and we all know what happened. Khurram was done for a good few months. Now He has seen something in Zeeshan as well, he was working with the U19 team as the bowling coach. Junaid is an intellect when it comes to cricket and he should be heard this time as well.

Zeeshan is such a parch bowler and almost cost us Bangladesh match but at the end cost us Australia match. Junaid should be sacked for being stubborn and persist with this useless bowler.

You haven’t watch the interview right??

Zeeshan is a good bowler who unfortunately had a poor tourament; despite that, pak u19 never conceded more the 200 which is a ridiculously good record. It's our batting that let us down. And you can't blame Junaid for that.

You have to blame his mentality of scoring 25 off 100 balls though

Our batting was never good. But Zeeshan is all hype and nearly cost us Bangladesh match with his lucky wicket. Zunaid should play any average bowler who can at least get no. 11 batsman.
Yousuf is no coaching material and got the job because of Afridi.

If a bowler cannot get rid of no. 11 batsman in 2 matches (1 lucky wicket against Bangladesh) than he is not that good. All hype.

Agreed , he wasn’t even troubling lower order batsmen in any of the games he played , surely he is not ready for PSL but the potential is definitely there

Very impressed with Junaid's knowledge of the game and his analysis about the strength and the weaknesses of young players. Hope he will keep working on young fastmen in PCB's setting . Not just his cricketing knowledge is impressive, looks like and very intelligent t and decent guy.

Yes. I agree with you. As I mentioned earlier, He is a very intelligent guy when he noticed the false action of Khurram earlier before the Australia test series and he eventually got injured after playing just 1 game. Zeeshan is tall and has all the talent ut Junaid has worked with him much more than anybody else so he knows him inside out.

Then why is he playing PSL if he can get injured? Also why is Naseem already playing PSL after a serious injury. The whole set up is a circus.

Zeeshan gets his first PSL wicket! The big one of Russouw with a slower ball, smart bowling.
On comms Waqar said he should use the slower one more regularly

He did a very good job as the fast bowling coach with the team during the u19 world cup. I agree with him on his views on Zeeshan. He needs to work on a few things to produce consistent good performances and we saw him struggle in his two PSL games where he conceded 38 and 48 runs respectively.

I hope he's handled properly by PCB and his career is managed properly.

Priorities have to be right, workloads properly handled and technical issues looked at properly.

Is Zeeshan really the age he is listed?

I'm not sure he is.
