Some actors perform even small roles really good and make you a fan. You start to enjoy watching them more thn the leading actor in a movie or tv show.


Some of my favorite characters:

Smoking Man (The X-Files)

The Oracle (The Matrix)

Saul Goodman (Breaking Bad)

Tyrion Lannister (Game of Thrones)

Littlefinger (Game of Thrones)

It's just a normal line but the way Smoking Man (William B. Davis) used to say it was amazing with that burning cigarette in hand.
 
From TV shows just Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. Tony Soprano as well

Was a massive fan of the Viper in GoT. Too bad his character didn't even last 9 episodes :facepalm:

I mostly end up liking the unloved side kicks or villains. People who get ignored or just are forgotten or misunderstood or overshadowed by the heroes. Heroes are flashy, often dignifying their stupidity and getting the girl because it was supposed to be so.

There are others, too many to list who have fascinated me a lot over time.

For me supporting the villain and underdog is a thing. And I really love it.

How can i miss to mention Gus in OP :facepalm: the best negative character i have seen in a very long time. (only his death scene was terrible walking out of the room with half face blown with a bomb)

Watched both and loved the shows, but didn't have favourite characters... perhaps Scar, whose story reminded me of Muslim resistance fighter against White imperialism, or even Greed.

Big Cumberbatch fan. He nails every role. Sherlock and Dr Strange are my favorites.

Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead was fantastic.

Hector Salamanca in both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul was a great villain.

Legolas and Gandalf are the two best characters oh and how could I forget Gollum! Man it's been so long since I watched the Lord of The Rings movies, at least 7/8 years I was so young when I watched them too so need to make time to go back and watch them again.

Oh gosh I remember watching all those movies and reading that novel back in high school! All 3 of those characters and movies/novels were great. A walk to remember made me cry that movie was so emotional! The truman show I remember seeing a couple times actually in school a few times in middle school then in high school as well, and then who hasn't read To Kill a Mockingbird in high school, that's the one novel we all seem to remember.

I've also seen the movie se7en and man both Bradd Pitt and Morgan Freeman do an excellent job in that movie, great watch.
 
Been rewatching Breaking Bad these days.

Walter White is definitely my favorite character and villain. Great performance.

Since John Wick is dead, I don't think we will see many John Wick movies moving forward.

They should've kept John Alive. Not sure why they killed off the character. A big blunder.

I saw John Wick 4 live in theatre. Great experience.

I recently read that John Wick 5 is now officially going ahead and Keanu is on board as well but the directors are trying to work out how to sell the story that he is still alive.

Maybe they can do a prequel. Past stories from John Wick's life.

Alternatively, they can bring John Wick back stating he faked his death. LOL.

I was shocked when John Wick died in JW 4. It made no sense to kill off the character.
 
ragnar lothbrok, cant think of a more fascinating lead character in a show, plus his support characters, floki, especially brought the best out of him


also in a nice twist of real life reflecting fiction, the actor, ranger longed to return to the life and farm he sailed from, but he never could, after finishing his work as ragnar, he went and lived on a farm in australia somewhere
