There are many different styles and beautiful variations among different reciters.

I personally like it where the reciter does not stretch or use any effort.

My all time personal favorite is Sheikh Saud Shuraim. It just flows like silk when he recites, effortless and awesome.

My favourite is As-Sudays-Shraym.

Shaikh Shuraim for some Suras, Shaikh Sudais for others.

Generally Shaikh Sudais is more emotional, but the few occasions when Sh. Shuraim is moved into tears touches your heart in a very strong way

Sheikh Shuraim does have a very soothing voice. I like how his pronunciations are profound but not extended. Sudais is obviously a master and the imam of the masjid Nabwi (don't remember his name) has a beautiful uninterrupted smooth recitation as well.
