After seeing these lineups,I expect Belgium to beat England by at leadt 2 goals.Lukaku has a chance to win the Golden Boot while Kane has a chance to extend his lead.

Indeed, what a couple of SF this year. I was actually watching both soccer & tennis in 2 screens (hence PP typing was off). Two if the best ever 3 tennis players playing one of the game of their illustrious creed - can’t recall when I had seen such high quality tennis last time. May be one of Rogers - Novak at Austral open.

I think, by the time all 3 retires, Novak will cross Rafa as 2nd best. Rafa is untouchable on clay and these days more & more tournaments are played on that surface, but Novak is probably better all round player - leads Rafa in grass, hard court & synthetic indoors.

It’ll be a one sided final I guess - Anderson with his service game won’t match Novak’s baseline game on this slow surface this year.

England are overrated, lost twice to Belgium. Got lucky to make it to the semis cause of the bracket they were in. Against belgium the had no drive, no sense of urgency, it's like they didn't want to win. Belgium deserve the bronze medal, they've thoroughly professional throughout this tournament.

Belgium deserved to take the lead into half time, England then improved massively in the second half but lacked a killer instinct and so could not get the equaliser - then one swift counter attack from Belgium and it’s all over.

Fair result. There was a bit of a feeling of inevitability about it too.

Kane and Lukaku were both very poor again.

England finish as “officially” the 4th best team in the tournament and that is probably just about accurate - France, Croatia and Belgium all clearly better than them, however a well deserved 4th place and (believe it or not) that is probably England’s best ever showing at a World Cup apart from 1966.

They finished 4th in 1990 as well and would say they gave a better showing then, very unlucky to go out to West Germany on penalties in the SF as they played the better football on the night.

From what I heard (just a bit too young) they were poor in most of the other games in ‘90, didn’t see it myself though.

A small piece of stats I can share which I heard from commis - England has the lowest chance created after Iran in the entire WC, in spite of reaching the Semi Finals, and Iran playing 3 games in what was probably the toughest group for the underdogs.
