Almost 100 firefighters are battling a huge blaze at Poundland in Chingford, east London, with at least half of the ground floor alight.
Shocking photos posted to social media show smoke billowing out of the discount shop on Old Church Road.
There are 15 fire engines and 97 firefighters now on the scene, battling the blaze as it threatens to spread.
Nearby homes have been evacuated as they attempt to tackle the inferno.

They are now being treated as suspects, and members of the public are being asked to contact police if they have any information.
