Australia continue today at 1/181.
Ponting is on 51 and langer is on 88.

I am predicting that we will declare halfway through thye first session,

Just been watching the highlights of Day 3 - what a stuffing.

Eng are mentality beat - looks like the Aus of old - the ruthlessness and efficiency in the way they do thjings.

I agree with you Oxy. We look much more agressive than we did last time. We are not here to win mates, we are here to win the Ashes!

you have been saying the exact same thing for 3 days :)))

Harmisson is warming up. he needs to fire today doesn't matter what the result as Englnad needs him next match. Anderson probably out for Sajid Mahmood or Broad or Plunket whoever they brought. I think Broad may have done well here

it is the echos coming from the cracks in the pitch. apparently they sealed the cracks when England bowled

Hoggard to start. langer 88 Ponting 51
Aus 181-1 - lead of 626

Because the highlights programme starts 30 mins before the next days play begins.....

Century for Langer.

Aus declare - 202/1

Eng require 648 to win:)

Great innings by Langer.
Is it Pontinggs back or side that hurts?
Hopefully its nothing serious

Aussies shouldn't have declared. They should have completley destroyed England mentally, and should have had more fun with the bat. After all Aussies only need less than one session to bowl out England. I would have batted until tea tommorow if I was ponting :P

aap ki to baat hi aur hey. I don't even understand how Ponting can have a cricket game after him and he doesn't do such things.
these aussie are negative and scared

That's harsh
it may have been missing leg as that is all I can guess. they don't show much replays, hawkey etc on certain decisions

Is McGrath back on the field. if not what is wrong with him?
Lawry just said Ponting is off. but McGrath was off too half hour ago

finally showed the hawkeye of Bell. it was just clipping the outside of leg stump. very close decision there

Not sure what you mean about not showing replays. Channel 9 showed four detailed replays of that dismissal just now:

1. snicko
2. hawkeye (showed it was hitting leg)
3. superslowmo (showed it hitting the pad)
4. HotSpot (showed it hitting the pad)

Are you watching Sky or Channel 9?

I am watching on 9 and it took them 5 min to show the hawkey. the showed the slow mo and hot spot before (from an angle) and that was clear that no bat involved. it was matter of the leg stump and hawkeye was missing

He got that decision on reputation. Any spinner but Shane Warne appeals for that and the umpire says not out.

Cook doing well today. 37 not out so far, Collywobble on 7.

Chance at slip off an edge, but Warney decides to be honest and not do a Ganguly.

Good to see the Pommies loosening their arms and having a go. You may as well, better to go down swinging.

I don't understand why Collingwood is coming before Pietersen. Is Bari or one of his student working in ECB?

The stands need to drop the oxygen masks or beer feeder for the Barmy Army. the chants are getting too weak

They're trying to protect KP from the new ball apparently. Though I'd have thought they'd want to have KP against Warney.

I just realised Ponting's off the ground at the moment and Gilly is captaining.
