General election nomination forms - The Supreme Court stumps corrupt politicians!

After reading that the SC had suspended an excellent decision by the LHC on the legality of the law passed to protect corrupt politicians, i began to have my doubts on the integrity of the CJP. But after a massive outcry on Social media, today the SC insisted that an affidavit must also be submitted with the nomination form. It humiliated the Speaker of the house Ayaz Sadiq asking why the politicians were desperate to hide basic information from their nominations.

I hope the CJP keeps these politicians on the edge, however, I am not happy with his handling of the Khawaja Asif case and Nawaz's NAB cases.

Khawaja case was bizarre, In the NS case, justice will be done very soon and you know that they(the Sharifs) know its not going well and hence the desperate attempts at delay.

Nooras think they live in the age of PTV dominated news agendas. The world has moved on and the Nooras and friends and i am sad to say there were some in the PTI that backed this disgusting law.

Because judges haven't been the ones looting the country. The affidavit is only needed because this ***** and his partners made a law excusing the politicians from disclosing their assets, their education, their nationality, their criminal record and their education history. Which meant any criminal can hold an office.

The last time I checked anyone COULD not be judge. You have to have a certain level of education, no criminal record. Absence of both of which, by law, would disqualify you.

These people are so thick its unreal.

This may be so, but the PTI was nowhere vocal enough on this issue. This law went to the heart of the anti democratic tendencies of the Nooras and the PTI should have been out on the streets trying to raise awareness.

If PTI had gone more vocal they would have chanted PTI is running away from election and want delayed elections. PTI right now is taking every step carefully.

I disagree, there are some issues worth taking the hit for and this was one of them.
