Im guessing George is a permanent resident in Pakistan?

I believe he is a naturalized citizen. He rose to fame with "George ka Pakistan," a show that ran on GEO circa 2005, if I remember correctly. The premise was to invite a Westerner to Pakistan, have him travel around the country, and in the end let viewers vote on whether he should become a citizen. The TV channel were even able to get him to interview the PM at that time, Shaukat Aziz.

He stayed on in Pakistan after that, got married, and got naturalized. Since he was a journalist in the UK, he moved into the media world in Pakistan too, writing for Dawn and hosting a TV show with his wife Kiran. Things then took a turn for the worse in Pakistan, and his in-laws convinced him to move back to the UK.

I haven't seen the video. Is he back in Pakistan? If so, that's heartening news.
