Maxwell has been given more responsibility and he has shown he has the genes to carry himself in the team. The Maxwell who first entered cricket was just a slogger and hitter but now he can build and execute.

The Umar who first entered the scene was a proper Maxwell type cricketer. He has been given countless opportunities but now he has become more of a slogger than a cricketer.

In essence, it means that you "reach where you want to be".

But its interesting to note that Umar has a higher average than Maxwell in ODI's.

So would anyone pick Umar over Maxwell?

Absolutely shamefull comparison. Maxwell is leagues above Akmal. He can play 360 degrees versus pace and spin. Umar has issues against left arm spinners.
