Who are they?!

With Misbah and Younis now gone (as kamz commented), there seems to be a big vacuum in terms of good players of spin in the Pakistan lineup.

In shorter forms of the game, you can get away with it but can the current Pakistan Test side survive a trial by spin on good spinning tracks, against quality spinners?

Harish Sohail,Asad Shafiq, Sarfaraz all are decent against spin.Plus they also have Fakhar in the squad and he is a brilliant player of spin.
Imam and Babar have to improve against spin.Imam was struggling against a mediocre bowler like Dom Bess.He also struggled against Akila Dananjaya in UAE

Nobody currently on Misbah and Younis's level but Haris Sohail and Azhar Ali are probably the best players of spin in the current team. Shafiq and Sarfraz are also good but both have the same issues of inconsistency.

Fakhar should be given the debut in UAE against ANZ. No better chance to introduce him to test cricket than this.

I like Fakhar but playing spin with patience and seeing out ball after ball is not his kind of game.

Fawad Alam, by far.

Yes, Ideally he should be given a chance but the question is who will be dropped to fit Fakhar in.Imam?

I think we do have issues when it comes to playing spin. None of our players really stand out versus spin compared to the top teams.

No one in the team can dominate spin like Fakhar Zaman.

Some have great defense (Azhar, Shafiq) while others have great offense (Sarfraz, Haris) but no one can smother it quite like “The Admiral”.

Agreed.

Hussain Talat is probably the second best but not a test player (perhaps yet).

Talat is not ready yet for International cricket.

He struggled against pace (125kph WI trundlers) and failed to accelerate against spin.

Fawad and Shafiq. Haris probably there as well but needs to produce big knocks for it to be beneficial.

None is spectacular but Asad is probably the most confident while playing shots against spinners. Fawad's defense might be good as well (not sure now), but he is limited in shot making ability, which eventually will cost his wicket - but indeed he might spend highest time in middle.

I might be mistaken but we have yet to have a proper trial by spin; Think a tour of Sri Lanka will be a good test.
