The last 3 days have easily been the worst days of my life, with the first one being the most difficult one. So I was all fine and healthy the day earlier and woke up the next day with a mild headache and very mild body pain, I checked the fever and it was 99 deg, which is only a shy above normal 98 deg, a few hours later the fever jumped to 100 deg, so I took Panadol still I didn't speculate anything apart from normal random fever due to weather change. After another few hours, the body and joint pains became massive and unbearable and the fever continues to increase to 102 deg, that's when I was sure that this is something serious, I self-meditated and took Klaricid (an antibiotic) but to no effect, the fever gradually rose to 104 deg, with extreme shivering (some of the worst I've felt ever) and body aches along with extreme pain behind the eyes, consulted with a doctor friend of mine who told to immediately do Malaria, Complete Blood picture (CBC) and Dengue tests, meanwhile do not take any antibiotics,, and just rely on Panadol and cold sponges, so I somehow mustered up the energy and went to the nearby diagnostic center to do the tests, the challenge was to do cold sponges while I was having extreme shivers tho was body was redhot at the same time, the Malaria and CBC test came on the same night, the Malaria test was negative while in CBC my platelets were half of the last test that I did in july still within the range while lymphopenia was found present. So took 2 more Panadols and somehow survived through the day. Couldn't sleep at all that night, the fever temporarily goes a few points down due to Panadol and then rose right back up.

The next day the dengue report came, and I was dengue positive:facepalm consulted with the doctor who advised just to take 2 Panadol every 6 hours, along with a syrup called Karika. He advised to drink apple juice and keep my fluid intake as high as I can. That day the fever was in range of 101-102deg also shivering was gone, but it was replaced with dry cough.

Today is the least worse of the 3 days (so far), the fever is around 100-101F, I'm still on Panadols, but today I feel a little better, I can walk and use my laptop which I couldn't before due to eye pain, and also have had very mild sweating which never happened before.

Just want to caution you peeps, that a small Mosquito (which I never took seriously before) literally took the life away from me, so be careful and take precautionary measures to prevent Dengue during this season so that you don't have to go through this... Cheers!
