Eddie Guerrero's death has affected me like I can't put down in words. It has hurt my beyond belief. I mean I have gotten over the death of my extended family members quicker than Eddie's death. I have done things that are so embarrassing after Eddie's death, but I'll mention them here.

I e-mailed the Hennapin County Medical Examiner's Office to confirm whether they provided the autopsy of Eddie's body or not. I called the Marriot City Centre Hotel to confirm whether Eddie passed away in the hotel or not.

I don't know but I needed closure that he was really dead. It was 15 years yesterday that he passed away, it still pains. I have his couple of DVD's produced by the WWE that I treasure.

I can safely say that no celebrity death has effected me as much as Eddie's.

I would like to know whether it's normal or not. Has any celebrity death effected you just as much?

If that’s hous you reacted to Eddies death then I Hope Sachin doesn’t die in your lifetime

OP - I think politicians death affects you like that. I’m sure many people felt like that at benaizr bhuttos death

I was devastated when A P J Abdul Kalam died. I literally worshipped the man.
I had even met him personally, so there was a connection. He wasn't a far off celebrity for me.

Princess Diane (she died young)and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan I thought the latter could still contribute a lot in the music world. His quawallies still give me goose bumps. In the end, time is a good healer

Not gonna lie that's really weird. Glad to hear you're doing better now.

Regarding the topic, no celebrity's death affected me this much. Kobe's was a little surreal. But mainly because of how tragic the circumstances were. But I wasn't traumatized by it.

Never previously but Kobe Bryant's death tugged at the heartstrings because he was with his daughter and she herself was a rising star.

Chester Bennington of Linkin Park did, since they were my favourite teenage band.

I was really touched by Arun Jaitley's death. A statesman par excellence gone too soon.

Longtime Jepoardy host Alex Trebek passed away last week which was sad. I used to watch that game show a lot in my childhood.

I felt bad at times about many deaths but I was never badly affected. Life goes on.

Michael Jacksons death was the only one that kinda affected me because I remember everybody talking about it in school, dudes music is some of the best selling of all time, was an immense performer.

Only really got into his music half a decade later.

Death of old age doesn’t really devastate anyone. Eddie was just 38 when he passed. It was an untimely death.

Its natural to feel bad when someone you have followed passes away but i havent been traumatized by any celeb deaths.

However, the worst i have felt is when Benazir bhutto was killed. How the entire thing unfolded, the suspense in those few minutes whether she was okay or not and the eventual news of her passing, it did disturb me a bit.

Michael Jackson for one.

On the wrestling theme, the Chris Benoit stuff affected me quite a bit. (And I still think about it sometimes)

You are the second person to mention benazir in this thread and now I m intrigued as to why? She was a politician who was groomed from an early age as to her role. Why sorrow for her above innocent souls who had no choice in the manner of their demise?

God how I miss Junaid Jamshed.

Always in our hearts. Even now if I think long enough it's sufficient to bring a few tears.

Pakistani singer turned Maulvi Junaid Jamshed. Loved his music and later used to listen to his religious sermons. The way he died was very sad as well. Was shaken by it for a while.

So does that justify her killing, or do you think she had it coming?

If she was corrupt or whatever, she should have been tried by the law of the land and punished in accordance. Assassinating her is not the solution, and it is as condemn-able as the killing of any innocent person.

I'm not affected by celebrity deaths, however if the celebrities I grew up watching died then I would feel sad.

David Jason (Del boy) and Sylvester Stallone.

Politics is a dirty business, even more so in Pakistan, you may remember Gen. Zia came to a violent end as well. I was just surprised that a politician was nominated, but Benazir's end was a shocking death. Only someone with a twisted mentality would translate that into justifying her death.

Initially I was drawn into the SSR story but after the Sanghis started milking it, I was put off massively.

I don’t really follow the story. Just saddened regardless of the how or why. Great guy.

None. OP needs to get out more.

No Celeb will ever lose a wink of sleep over you or anyone they dont know.

You only get affected when you lost your close ones that is your family, friends relatives, However there is one celebrity that will affect me a little bit when he dies
Christian Bale.

Yeah tbh I've never been "affected" by a celebrities death but I have been briefly shocked or upset about it. I think the thread title is too dramatic.

No. But the only time I came close to crying for someone i didn't know personally was Bawa Eddie died. May Allah grant him a place in Jannat.

I was quite young back then and my mother (who doesnt know much about politics) always used good words for madam Benazir. Back then even i didnt know much about Pakistani politics. I just saw her as a strong woman and a mother of kids as young as me. And the unfolding of that event when she was killed did disturb me because i was following it on live news. But it wasnt very traumatizinh or didnt leave any long term impact. I forgot it after a couple of days.

Maradona's death has been pretty hard to take as he was my first footballing hero and a player that I always admired.

I don't know about being affected. I can't say I'm a very emotional person. But David Bowie's death really hit hard. It was compounded by his last album Blackstar, listening to which felt like he knew his time was near and that album (which is incredibly sad and beautiful) was his way of saying goodbye.

As a kid I remember being really sad at the death of Eddie Guerrero.

No, not really. And don't think if any of the current celebs die would affect me. Maybe Emma Watson for personal reasons :butt

Not really, though Bob Woolmer's death was hard to take. I wish he left this earth on a more positive note than a group stage exit at the hands of Ireland.

Addressing the OP, unfortunately Eddie would've died prematurely at some point because he put way too much stress on his body. He bulked up to unhealthy proportions as he felt was too small for a main eventer. He looked white as a ghost sometimes so clearly there were underlying heart issues that went undetected.

In recent years, it has to be Chester Bennington's suicide. Linkin Park was a huge part of my adolescent life and it hit me hard.
