Has Pakistan's Test batting improved since the Sri Lanka series?

Still early days in this test match but wanted to bring this up.

Although 500+ first innings score would have been ideal - 482 is still a great total and we batted very well to achieve it.

Quite a few folks are complaining about the dead pitch but I’m just glad we didn’t rollover for 100 runs or so like the SL series

Is this a sign of good things to come? Can we repeat our heroics with the bat of that amazing 2014 series?

We played poorly. But we are improving and I'm not as fearful for SA as others are.

Lol... One "SLOW" innings and our batting improved? We are still the same team and No our batting didn't improve. We should have scored at higher RR. should have scored 600+ on this pitch.

Yes scorecard looks good with 2 hundreds but should have been more.

I love the Strike rate. 144 overs under the UAE sun This will have affect in the 7th and 8th innings.
