With Israel's recent covert actions inside Iran, has the global red line on assassinating foreign political and military leaders been erased?

If one country can target high-profile figures abroad with impunity, does that mean others—including India—could now consider similar actions against adversaries like Pakistan's Gen Asim Munir? Or does this set a dangerous precedent where no leader is safe, and extrajudicial killings become the new norm in international relations?

Genuinely curious what others make of this.

I think extrajudicial killings take a precise set of circumstances for it to be possible. I don’t see Mossad or RAW infiltrating certain countries as it’s not possible. Iran is ripe for this exploitation, has a complex number of factors to be exploited.

More importantly in my opinion, international law is meaningless. I’m convinced Israel emboldened India to attack “terror bases” in Pakistan. The chief leader of Isreal which is the US allows it’s little protege Israel to run rogue in the Middle East.

No respect for norms means more wars and conflicts.

Israel get away with this because they are backed by USA.

I don't think other countries would do this. If they do, there can be big wars between those countries.

Beware of unknown gunmen. They’re on the loose these days
