AGRA: The Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV), a right wing group founded by Yogi Adityanath, announced a reward of Rs 1 crore to anyone who beheads former cricketer and Punjab cabinet minister Navjot Singh Sidhu for "abusing Uttar Pradesh chief minister. President of Agra unit of HYV, Tarun Singh, said he would chop Sidhu into pieces if the latter visits Agra. Raising slogan against Sidhu, activists of HYV and Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh also burnt an effigy of Sidhu, on Tuesday.

Tarun Singh said that Sidhu had given a statement against the UP CM at a rally in Rajasthan, which cannot be tolerated. Addressing an election rally in Ramganj Mandi on Sunday, Sidhu had said that BJP was not faithful to the people of the nation and that "even chowkidar's (Prime Minister) dog is not loyal, and is a chor (thief). And, Yogi is the biggest ‘bhogi (on ewho indulges in worldly pleasures)."

Targeting Sidhu over his connections with Pakistan, Tarun SIngh said the Punjab minister had been heaping praises on the neighbouring country and giving statements against his own country, which is unpardonable. “Either Sidhu should go to Pakistan or we will not let him live in India,” added Tarun Singh.

The Hindu Yuva Vahini was formed more that 15 years ago, but in 2017, it indefinitely suspended taking any new memberships.

The danger is one cannot ignore these as just empty threats.
There is not much difference between BJP and its's affiliates and a murderous mob.

Let the investigation be over. there are anti india forces who want to malign the bajrang dal and their role cannot be ruled out.

You'll find most of the Indian posters on here have never heard of these groups like VHP, Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal, RSS etc, but of course they all know Hafiz Saeed, the Owaisi guy, Dawood Whatsisname and whichever Lashkar is making the news on Zee TV currently.

Quite the opposite. india is a lovely country where violence happens mostly verbally. it is only a figure of speech, not a call to disfigure someone.

True. Their crimes are generally brushed aside as not big enough to make headlines. Probably because their workers, when they murder people, dont do it using guns or bombs. It seems to me that for some people, terrorism can only be done through guns and bombs. Also, their crimes are not highlighted much by media or given enough air time. Believe me, if you google it, you would find some kind of crime committed by these organisations every single day. These are terrorists make no mistake about it.

The Indian poster consensus seems to be that terrorism is only defined as such when it is carried out abroad . Violence inflicted on it's own population is merely an in-house dispute, usually triggered by the victims.

wrong definition. Terrorism is violence to intimidate the government. So how come hindu vahini ( let us believe for the sake of argument that they committed violence) is spreading terrorism, when it IS the government?

let investigation be over. There are too many anti india forces trying to malign patriotic and charity organizations just because they are hindu.

seems like a definition written by a terrorist apologist. so if a group organizes a hartaal and shops are forced to close, they will be called terrorist by your definition.

hindu vahini was founded by Yogi Ji, and Yogi Ji is the chief minister. so why will a charity organization founded by him will try to intimidate a government headed by him.

Looks like all the lectures on terrorism in my criminology degree were a waste of time and resources. I need to take some lectures from cartoons on this one I guess.

Agree with CricketCartoons here, as Yogi is a govt minister, you can't really describe him as a terrorist. He is officially sanctioned by the people of his nation. So was Hitler for that matter, but he wasn't a terrorist either.
 
Arrest these loonies and take strictest possible action against the leaders of these extremist groups. This madness unleashed on Indian soil post 2014 needs to stop.

Yogi is elected as part of BJP. His other organisation (Hindu yuva Vahini) has nothing to do with government , atleast directly.

If they really wanted him dead then someone would have killed him by now. These bounty offers are all false just to please a certain faction of society. Many Sikh's would only lean more towards Pak if that were to happen. Same with Hafiz Saeed's so called bounty as well.
 
i have over 1200 friends on fb & posts ridiculing Yogi the criminal are very common .
Under Modi , these RW idiots from Bajrang Dal & Yuva V etc have really become bold because in BJP ruled states , these outfits are patronized by BJP neta's which is very unfortunately .
A good development is in recent state elections BJP is as good as wiped out in Rajasthan & is neck 2 neck with INC in MP . Modi is rattled & that showed in his 3rd rate gutter level electoral speeches .
