Disappointing and embarrassing are two words that come to mind. The expectations were certainly high from the Pakistani team coming into the tournament. This was their best chance in years to dominate India especially with V. Kohli being rested. But the performances have been less than stellar to say the least. They struggled to beat Afghanistan, didn't look good against Hong Kong and then got humiliated against India. It is hard to explain how all of a sudden after showing consistency in the last year and an improvement in all departments, the team can perform so poorly. I've lost count of how many catches have been, and the players that were expected to perform after showing great form are playing as if they have had a good game in years.

Not surprised, I mentioned we’d be beaten 3-0, mostly due to poor selections, lack of quality spinners, relying too much on one opener and the other being a minnow basher, weak middle order etc

The question can be asked after the finals is over, till now not as good, need to get their house in order even if BD have a good day there is a good chance PCT will lose but luckily the "Tigers" will be cornered now, they can perform.
Pak Tigers not the BD ones.

Shouldn't we rate the performance in the Asia cup after the tournament is over?

Normally reviews are done after the event is over.

We have won the games we should be winning. So an awful tournament so far.

I hope we have learnt that Amir should be dropped for the series against NZ and AUS at least. If we do make it to the final against India, we should play an experimental side and have Shan Masood open with Fakhar.
