How hard is it to keep track of scores?

These scorers for the T20 Cup are acting as if they are solving a murder mystery. They have no clue at all.

Surely if you have been employed to keep track of one thing, you could do it. Heck even a viewer like me can mentally make out what the score is. But the people with technology can't.
