I say 20 (25) lbw to Hasan Ali

Hopefully I am wrong and he scores another match winning century.
 
Think he will turn up here with a big score that will not go unnoticed.
 
Surely he's due a low score against Pakistan :)

As crazy as it sounds (considering India's chasing ability), I don't think they can chase anything 300+ vs us. On paper, their attack looks very good but Pakistan's bowling was very inexperienced all this while when they were getting smashed, they're finally coming into their own and I feel chasing anything 275+ will be hard while 320+ is borderline impossible.

Kohli is a Pakistan bully. I genuinely believe India is all Kohli or nothing and I've even made a thread about this before. So, this hypothesis stays for any team and India alike - however with hopes he gets out.
 
I just hope his runs come in the first innings and are not made in a cause for chasing down a total. That 180* he scored in Bangladesh still haunts me today how he singlehandedly tore apart our bowlers chasing down a mammoth target
 
Realistically if Pakistan bar first and play accordingly to the merit of the pitch there is no way they should not score anything below 330.

330-370 and India will back themselves to chase it down.

Whatever Pakistan score be it 380-420 (for which they will have to bat beyond their capacity) I still will not think it's good enough for Pakistan to breathe a bit because India simply rely on a couple of big partnerships and weak Pakistani mentality.

If India bat first and Pakistan do not contain them for anything less than 300, 90% chance its curtains for Pakistan
 
I would honestly open with Hafeez in this game, I've got an inkling feeling this guy will score a big one on such a flat track
 
He can get 0 or all the runs in the world, the team should still believe they can beat India
 
What's more important than "how much he will score" is his impact on the game . . In the last 2 T20s that Pakistan and India have played (Asia Cup and World T20), he hasn't made a huge score but won the game for India . .

I am going to predict another match defining effort!
 
About time the Law of Averages catch up with him. He has destroyed Pakistan enough.

With all due respect to the mighty Indian bowling attack, if Starc and Hazlewood struggle to contain on these pitches, I'm not sure the ATGs Kumar, Shami, Bumrah and Yadav can do much to stem the flow of runs. Jadeja and Ashwin will be pivotal to this contest IMO.

He'll be lucky to cross the zero mark and if he somehow manages to do so I don't see him scoring more than 15 runs.....

It's either a low score or a big one. There's going to be no happy medium, I can guarantee that.

A small matter of Starc/Hazlewood bowling to Guptill/Williamson and us bowling to Hafeez/Azhar/Shehzad etc.
 
All those people quoting that India won't be able to chase 300+ against us etc you do realize that to make India chase 300+ you will also have to make 300+? How can a pitch where the Pakistani lineup can make 300+ against the superior Indian bowling be difficult for Indians to bat on against the inferior Pakistan bowling.

The thing about law of averages is that if it catches up with Kohli it will also catch up with someone like Rohit.
 
I wanna know total matches exact Average strike rate century's fiftys against Pakistan in ODI :)
 
batting pitch allows big run to him but hassan varation makes diffrent
so my pred...
batting pitch -variation + runoutchance = less than 50 to him

Other players don't worry me because Pakistan can still win if the likes of Rohit etc. score. The problem with Kohli is his impact. If he is in his element, Pakistan will have almost no chance of winning. He would be the last player in the Indian team I would want to have a good game.
 
Alot players tend to get big hundreds and get into form against Pakistan, so I'm expecting 150-180 from Kohli and will get some support from the likes of Yuvi (maybe) and Dhoni. Buvneshwar Kumar will also cause havok against Pakistan with Ashwin and maybe Bumrah as Pakistan haven't really encountered much yet

Focus on Kohli while Kedar will steal the deal unnoticed by Pakistani team.
 
I called 91 or more and he would've gotten there but reduced overs. He is simply legendary.
