How Pakistan can fight back : things aren't so bad!

this is all the same rubbish repeated again and again and again and again and again.

salman butts averages 6 years ago are irrelevant. on top of that his performances being dreadful everywehere else in the world suggests he just hit a purple patch in australia that wasnt reflective of his thoroughly mediocre talents. even his qea centuries came when no-name players were hitting centuries for fun. asif cant even last a single domestic game in terms of fitness.

its is plainly idiotic to take one game and assume a player will perform precisely like that going forwards.

these exact same predictions were made about england 2016, and they were wholly and completely wrong. why? because there was some decent planning, the team was sent early, acclimatised and practiced.

they didnt do that in new zealand, and they havent done that in australia, and havent played in those conditions for so long, the adjustment is next to impossible. on top of that, they are playing a home team in their most successful venue. you cant judge the team based on these conditions, and cant assume anyone brought in from outside would have fared better.

a change in personnel is being touted as thought its fact, its not, its rank speculation which fails to account for the fact that there has been no opportunity to adjust to the conditions. this team may be rubbish, it may be decent, so far given the circumstances, we just cant tell. and there is no evidence apart from anecdotal decontextualised and deceitful soundbites to suggest there are obvious replacements who if flown in would do so much better.
