Salam

As the title suggests, I was wondering how to buy from the ca factory as they dont have an option on the website. I have tried to email them but I get no response, so can someone please explain step by step what I should do.
Thx

Walekum Salam,

Last 2 months, i have purchased 6 bats online from CA. They are prompt in replying e-mails. You can address your queries to Mr Zahid Javed, Director CA sports thru email on sales@ca-sports.com.pk .

I am sure he will reply you and send you the required items, i think they ship across the globe. For me all my transactions with him were very smooth.

Hope it helps.

Thanks a lot and btw price wise do they sell the cheapest ca equipment compared to regular stores in Pakistan?

I have no idea about that because i am based in Dubai. Should be at par with local stores, main advantage is only genuine products will be delivered if you buy directly from CA.

I have just ordered some ODI pads but was wondering how do you make payment ?

Can this be done online ?

no, you have to go to a western union outlet. Its same procedure like money gram or a bank for bank wire transfer. You pay a fee to have them transfer the required sum of money. You have to get the receiver's name and address to put on the form that you are required to fill out.

If your question is that you can make payment to CA Sports online then answer is no. If you are asking that Western Union payment can be done online then answer is again no, follow the procedure well explained by batspecialist. Ask Mr Zahid of CA, he will give you the receiver's name, same name you need to transfer the money.

hello, i am new here in the forum, i had contacted ca factory through the email id u have given in your post i got a reply from Mr. Hamza Zahid , any idea who is he? And how do u order bats without having a look at it and also without having a feel of it? I had read in one of the forum that the ca factory doesnt show u pics of the bats if u want to order? how can u be sure u will be getting a bat in the specifications u want?

Listen just trust them - a cricket bat is just a piece of wood. 9/10 you will get a good product.

I recently ordered a bat from them - just waiting for delivery.

As for specifications that just means the weight and number of grains, grip colour etc. They will do what you want from them, you have to just trust them on that.

Ok, did u have to pay custom duty on your bats?

I too have just ordered a bat and have been dealing with Hamza Zahid? It seems that sometimes they are slow in returning emails but eventually they do. Some countries may make you pay customs or quarantine juries but I am yet to have to pay in Australia. You will not be able to get pictures so its a trust thing. But you can ask for specifics and they will accommodate. Hope this helps

yes Hamza Zahid is the person replying on behalf of CA , so u say u r yet to pay customs, so u have imported bats and softs for some time?

Do u mind me asking what specifications u have asked for your latest bat?

Hamza Zahid must be his son, not sure though, but you need to trust them, they will send you quality bat as per your specs. To avoid custom duty you need to tell CA guys to under invoice or ask them to mention on invoice sample bat.

Hey bro , did u have any problems transferring money through western union to CA ?

I am also in the process of buying around 5 bats from CA in UK. Please could you let me know if you paid any import duty and VAT on the import and if there is any way I can get around it?

I have bought direct from CA few times and their service is crap and I know alot of people who had problems with them. They just send the bat you say and don't care what weight you say you want and also as you buying direct from them their price should be similar to retailers or cheaper but they charge much more.
So now I buy CA from here from suppliers no messing about

I purchased a top of the line CA 15000 LE from the same person back a few years ago when it was their top bat, I got the bat as described with a lot of straight grains, but it didn't ping well and I can't use it in games. There is no excuse for a top of the range bat to not ping really well despite a lot of knocking. I was also charged a hefty customs fee.

Never buy direct. Thing is they make so many quantity bats of a model and their distributors are always picking and getting the best performing ones. The left overs then CA sell to customers like us, might look great but won't perform as good as they should be. They also charge more then actual CA suppliers and the bat isn't always sent as you tell them you want it.
Always buy from a official CA supplier they have the best CA bats.

What can one do in Canada though? If I was in Pak I would definitely head to one of the major stores and pick one out, but I can't do that here.

Tes agree mate. That's unfortunate. Next time try buying from a reputable online distributor

First let me answer the query about prices from CA Factory. Their prices are higher than their official distributor's prices for the same gears. You can mark my words. How can I tell? I told them that I want to place a big order from Saudi Arabia for local online sales and asked for distributor's prices. They gave me price list if placing order of minimum 500K. If less then they would add further 5 /10 percent. And I was shocked that even with 500K order, prices were more than distributor's price list. So I contacted a famous official local distributor and got my order fullfilled by them.

Regarding the spexification and quality of goods, I use to get pictures of short listed gears and I selects amongst them. With a few exceptions, I am happy things working this way because you gets some personalised service.

Regarding custom duties and taxes, the rule of thumb is if the custom will feel the package can be for commercial purposes rather than personal, they will impose duries and taxes. For example 1-2 bats are generally fine. If you gets more than that, you have to face the risk.

My 2 cents...

From Pakistan try UT Sports. In UK try Sq Sports. Both reliable and reasonable prices compare to others.

Thanks for the replies. I am looking to buy a decent bat since my old CA is breaking apart. I will try and buy locally here in Canada, I actually either open the batting or bat 1 down and it's funny how tailenders tend to have all these fancy cricket bats. I don't care about the brand and wouldn't mind a no brand bat at all so long as it is good, I wouldn't know who to trust though online.

Try SQ sports. They based in UK but are very reliable online retailer. I have bought many bats from them.
