Congratulations to Pakistan for their sensational win against India yesterday and although I'm extremely happy and excited for Pakistan Cricket I'm also somewhat nervous about the prospects of fixers luring/intimidating/blackmailing some of our young stars.

Pakistan has been scarred with a history of match fixing and spot fixing scandals in the past. Keeping that in mind, how will/should the PCB protect some of our rising stars such as Hassan Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, etc...?

I mean no disrespect but Pakistani players are not the brightest considering that they don't learn from the past and continue to be tempted into malpractice as we've seen with Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif, etc.

It would be an absolute atrocity if Pakistan Cricket was to fall victim to spot/match fixing again...

I'm sure the PCB have some guidelines and reminders about the dangers of fixings that they go through with the players. As long as PCB does their job, they should not fall into these traps.

When have these so-called guidelines and reminders ever worked?

I think the youngsters must learn from the failures of those before them and sharpen up. They have to be wise, be their own mentor and do it themselves.

I don't have any real hope from PCB. if they were any competent we would not have been plagued by such a curse over and over again to begin with.

Players knowing wrong from right, that just goes without saying but as we've seen time and time again some players do seem to slip up so more needs to be done.

What's up with this hate and hostility dude. It's a genuine concern with Pakistan Cricket, always has been.

The PCB have educated them and put in strict punishment guidelines for any misadventures. If the players are still willing to put their careers, reputation and country before such things then there's not much you can do. A precedent has been set and it is up to the players to oblige by it.

We definitely wouldn't want another Aamir case, so PCB needs to more then required for our youngsters to stay away from these bookies. Seeing as Aamir came back after being involved in spot fixing the newer players might have a relaxed attitude towards to it to some extent.

There's a lot that still can be done. Young players should be assigned mentors and should be lightly monitored in terms of their activities.

i think you are right .these players need to be monitor closely

It's an absolute no brainer. Mentors are an absolute must as well along with regular seminars and lectures to condition our players and mindsets against the menace of fixing.

they have been told every thing about fixing /bookies in the domestic when amir, butt and asif were

serving their punishment so PCB have done something for them its up to players now to be careful
