I know there is currently a lot of hype around Pakistani pacers, but lets be honest. Do our bowlers know how to bowl on a green track?

How would have an attack consisting of Shaheen, Hasan, Faheem, Dahani / Hasnain (?) bowled on the Christchurch pitch where NZ scored 521 in just 128 overs and bowled out Bangladesh for 126.

We failed in January 2021 by conceeding 659/6. Will not be making any big claims.

They were there a year ago and were unsurprisingly terrible. Pakistan have undisputedly had the most overhyped test pace attack over the last decade and it's still mediocre to the core.

Correct me if i am wrong, but back in 2010 didnt pakistan bat on a greenish pitch in hamilton?

We won that match thanks to abdur rehman and all the bowlers as every nowler performed and it was rehman who bagged a motm

Thus, with an experience attack we can win. But the current attack is being over hyped based on t20 performances

Back then NZ was a mediocre side. Iirc India decimated them around that time.

This is a much better side (at home only though). Loss against Bangladesh was more of an aberration.

I expect Pakistan to do better than Bangladesh. But, I still expect Kiwis to put up a decent score and win the Test.

Christchurch is like their fortress.

Only team that can probably win in Christchurch is Australia (even India should struggle).

Tbh Pakistan by playing Abbas were playing a bowler short. He was being absolutely defensive and lacked penetration with his mediocre 120-123 km/hr bowling outside the offstump. NZ were content to just play him out and take the attack to the other bowlers

We need to prepared a variety of pitches to help our players.
1.Green and pacy.Good for seam and swing.Good for fast bowlers.
2. Hard and bouncy.Give equal chance to batsmen and bowlers
3.Rank turner or dusty pitch to help spinners.
If our domestic games are played on a variety of pitches then out bowlers and batsmen will find it easy to adapt to overseas pitches.Of course it doesn’t guarantee we will win.Good performance in domestic cricket is one of the criteria to judge a player.
