MS Dhoni will set a new record of playing most number of IPL matches tonight, he'll overtake Suresh Raina.
 
According to InsideSport, CSK to terminate all contractual relationship with Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh. If the BCCI doesn't organise auctions for next IPL season, both Raina and Harbhajan might end up sitting out for whole season.

There will be a Mini auction for 2021. Someone important inside CSK is really angry if this news is true.

Csk don't have to pay them this year anyway and they could always decide not to retain them but csk are making a statement with this decision.

Raina suits well in SRH middle order as per current situation.

No way we can get rid of Raina. He has been instrumental in our success over the years.
 
SRH will be fine once they have Vijay Shankar back as fifth bowling option. Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad will become extra options for them. Priyam Garg seems to be of no utility for them.

I always supported CSK. They have always had players I have liked such as Faf,Dhoni,Watson,Ashwin,and Hussey.

I watch RCB games of course due to Kohli but I have always been a CSK fan.
 
Hazelwood dropped but Watson kept in despite being out of form for a while. At least Vijay is dropped.

Must win game for us today.
 
I hope in the next auction we sign an overseas specialist batter. Can't relay on all rounders and old Indian players to do the job.
 
What a brilliant ball by Deepak Chahar to dismiss Bairstow. Ball of the tournament for me.
 
SRH don't have a strong middle order so one of Bairstow or Warner has tried to bat through the innings rather than both being gung ho.
 
don't think ive ever seen Dhoni so disinterested like he has been during this years IPL. is it because he is at the end of his career or something behind the scenes, no raina etc.
 
Sunrisers lack power hitter in the lower order , this stops them from making strong finish
 
Garg and Abhishek are putting on a show. Nicely helped by pathetic CSK fielding.

Both 19 year olds are set for a strong finish.

Garg taking his opportunity with both hands. Playing good inning in middle order for the franchise that hasn't had real middle order ever.

Riyan Parag has been a flop so far in this edition of IPL.

Garg has played really well and looked very assured when playing big shots. Abhishek Sharma looked like Yuvraj Singh, but had lot of luck.

23 balls fifty for Priyam Garg..he came to bat when SRH was 69/4 in 11 overs.
 
If Bhuvi was taller he would had been and excellent bowler, improved his speed as well.
 
Natarajan bowls consistent yorkers, swings the bowl, has many variations. He can be in the national side if he continues this form. And he also has a edge being a left-hander.
 
CSK are gonna finish bottom this season.

Dhoni has ruined his 100% playoffs record by leaching for too long. He has ruined many other things too on the back of that but that's another discussion :)

Dhoni has no long term vision, didn't groom young player like other franchises.
They need to start from scratch in next mega auction.

CSK are in desperate need of a freshening up. These players have been together a long time. Sometimes a high performance environment needs different voices and new ideas.
 
CSK might actually lose to a PSL team , its that bad , such a torture to see Dhoni play, even in last legs Sachin ,Dravid were never like this!
 
Knew this chase was not going to go good when Faf and Watson face the first couple of overs. Was such a timid and nervous start. Didn't set a good tempo and would not settle nerves in the dressing room.

Dhoni surrounds himself with other oldies to feel age appropriate.

CSK should be renamed Chennai Super Geriatrics.
 
Time has come up for other teams to start giving guard of honour to every batsmen of CSK team whenever they come to bat.
