I have been watching him on TV for over a decade now and just love his commentary, very calm and balanced. Moreover his knowledge of the game is incredible.
And I feel he knows more about pakistani players than Ramiz and Wasim Bhai lol.

Where is David Gower btw? Has he left Sky?

Gower only usually does the tests.

Indeed. A very cool headed guy. As a matter of fact all English commentators have this mature trait about them.

Yeah he's fantastic and with a great sense of humour.

Gower still does the Tests.

He's good, except he has the worst pronunciation of "Babar" ever.

"Beyber" :))

Love Ian wards commentary, atherton, Rob key and Nasser Hussain all compliment each other well and give good insights. Tbh most English pundits are very good, even the female ones compared to the experts we put out there

Love his masterclasses that he conducts with old star players.

Really like most of the English commentators/pundits, apart from maybe Ian Botham. Nasser Hussain, Atherton, Ward, Bumble, Rob Key are all very likeable.

It's the trifecta of Ward, Athers and Nasser that works great. They're all individually fantastic at what they do but are superb together.

I love hearing to Ian Ward. Great commentator who knows how to engage the listener. Can be humorous at times too. All in all very good to listen to

I personally think the England commentators are the best compared to commentators from other countries (with Nasser Hussain, Bumble, Mike Atherton, Ian Ward and more).

Isa Guha is even more annoying than Ramiz

Definitely is. Just says the most inane and cliche ridden statements nothing with any depth or real analysis. Annoyingly you turn off sky to get rid of Isa and switch to radio and five min later she pops up there. Can’t Escape her.

Oh and whats this about Ramiz talking about his expert playing days giving advice on how to play the short ball like he was a master himself.

Yup, count me in the Ian Ward fan club! Really like him. Him, Nick Knight and Atherton are my favourite English commentators!

"Beyber" :))

Spare a thought for those of them who try to pronounce "Fakhar"! :asif

Ward is ok but Bumble Wilkins and Allot were better worst of the lot was Wilis
But for this Wc really hate Sangakarra pathetic voice

To add to that, I absolutely love Bob Willis. He's a love/hate kind of guy, but he says it how it is and is an absolute savage at times. Always interested in his views. I like Paul Allott too, yep. Not a fan of Isa Guha as a commentator though, she's very annoying

Ward is a good commentator and presenter. For some reason, I think he is more Pakistani than English. I also like Charles Colvill as a presenter - brutal and entertaining with his questions.

Ian Ward is a fantastic commentator/analyst.

Most English and Australian commentators are good. As is Ravi Shastri of India.

Wardy is a really nice guy.

He's neutral, not at all biased and loves Pakistan cricket.

I just couldn't fathom her anaolgies and humor if it was intended as humor. Like calling Nasser and Atherton to be impartial offcourse was the what the heck moment for me.
Well I highly doubt anyone would take Ramiz' analysis or advice seriously. Back around the inaugral wt20 in 2007, Geo Super used to have Ramiz dissect and analyze every batter in the squad for all the teams. It used to be quite cringeworthy though.
