Ghouri looks like a good bowler. Has got good pace , a little swing and agression. He seems like wanting to bowl as fast as possible. He can be worked with and he can become a good fast bowler in the future.

More pace than Sameen?

and why hasnt he played much in the tourney?

S Ali to S Curran, 135.8 km/h good length just outside off stump. He picks up a single

S Ali to S Curran, no run, 135.1 km/h short length just outside off stump. He doesn't offer a shot

certainly more pace than Sameen "overhyped" Gul, Why didnt he play more matches?

Sameen Gul's fastest was 134 kph

Saif has already touched 136 kph and From what i saw Arfan liaquat was also bowling around mid 130s. Both have more pace than Sameen

Infact Saif touched 140 almost in last match

S Ali to S Kandel, no run, 139.6 km/h full length on middle stump. He doesn't offer a shot

Pakistan v Nepal

6.6 I Liaqat to YS Karki, 135.9 km/h good length just outside off stump. He picks up a single

6.5 I Liaqat to R Rijal, 135.1 km/h short length just outside off stump. He picks up a single

6.4 I Liaqat to R Rijal, no run, 138.3 km/h full length just outside off stump. He doesn't offer a shot

Turnas out Sameen Gul was the slowest among Pakistan pacers

I am sure PAK management is not aware of whom are their best players or what is their best combination. I have seen only 2.5 matches so far, but already can say

1. Batting wise 4, 5 & 6 are far better than 1, 2 & 3
2. Zeeshan is far better captain than Rafique. Rafique has a decent domestic record, but I don't think he deserves a starting spot, they made him captain. Only meaningful match that PAK won so far, Rafique wasn't part of the team.
3. Bowling combination is wrong, PAK should have gone with 3 pacers, particularly when one of the pacers can make the team simply as a batsman. Besides, I don't think Gul is the best pacer in the team. In fact, if he is Pakistan's best U19 prospect, then future is not that bright.

Lmao, Gauhar swinging at everything. Good striker though.

Right approach.

Pakistan should have played like this whole tournament. Aggressive cricket.

They play this way when not under pressure. Basically when it doesnt matter anymore. Senior side is no different.

Also heard alot about Shadab Khan's batting, but he have been poor when I have seen him. Hopefully he deliveres today.

Arfan Liquat and Saif Ali bowled faster atleast in the televised matches. They bowled mid 130s, consistently.

Sameen isnt bad, he seems to have lost pace due to injury. He did touch 142.2 kph today but was slow on average through out the tourney.

Yeah I was going to type that.

Captain played a poor shot, should have smashed it towards off instead of dragging it to legside.

Spinner bowling like Hafeez with a puase

Atleast they are doing better than that talented 2012 U-19 side captained by Babar Azam that crashed out of QF could not even win the 8th place play off and ended up at bottom.

Atleast they are doing better with whatever little talent they have.

Good arms those of the England guy taking notes.

tour selection team should be held responsible for stupid blunders they did , we do had a decent enough U19 batch this worldcup , but they chose the wrong players and in the wrong order.

Most pathetic thing was playing too many spinners. First I thought they didnt have any seamer in the squad other than Sameen, but as it turns out they had two more and quicker seamers. Really poor team combo was played in most matches

This Crane is a seriously good spinner who can lift Englands spin departement.

Avesh khan's fastest delivery was 140 plus. I dont think anyone has bowled better in Pak camp.

Sameen clocked 142.2 kph today and Ghauri clocked 139.6 kph in last match

But yes i agree Indian pacers were better on the whole

Watching at the PAK team (s), I am convinced in one thing - capability is not any issue, rather PAK players are mentally weak, they struggle when something is at stake. The way Malik is playing is simply awesome & his feet are moving perfectly.

I think, this is where the Domestic game come - players are not stressed under pressure, therefore they struggle to play natural game under pressure; at least Misbah is not to blame for this U19 side. It's just about 2/3 years effort, if PCB can fix it's domestic cricket, by 2020, PAK can climb among top 4 side. PSL will help to some extent, but PSL covers only 50 players, Domestic has to cover 250 players at least.

This Saif Badar is a very fine batsman.

And I can not believe this team didn't beat Windies.

Really impressed by Badar, his straight hits are sweet and Bishop is happy too

I think this is the first match in whole tourney that our top order has delivered

A lot of class and good spirit at display today Belawal2014 :)))

Great partnership by Badar and Malik but don't know why they didn't perform when we needed much. Our top order totally failed in important matches.

Well, good luck for the future kids.

West indies had that joseph guy who was bowling at 145kph. And Pakistanis were too cautious and didnt do well under pressure. A fearless approach like this could have made a world of difference.

I think, this side hardly played together or even practiced more than few days. Much better team than the 5th/6th play-off.

Sameen Gul has been over hyped on PP.

Malik missed out on a ton. Well played though.

The biggest mistake there was to bat first when you should know Windies had 5 pacers in the team. Management should be questioned by PCB.

And gotta give credit to WI as well . their chase was brilliant and they tool the attack to the opposition early on.

Alzari Joseph probably has been one pacer in this tourney who is ready to step up to the international level.

I bet our senior team would not be able to chase 260+, even against the England u19.

Good batting by the Pakistani youngsters 260ish irrespective of the ground is a good total for U-19.

ahmedwaqas92 Mohsin was all class in his short cameo today. One for the future!

Umair Masood, Hasan Mohsin & Saif Badar. Three for the future. Quality cricketers!

Zeeshan Malik has been overhyped. He has the shots, but lacks the consistency. Unfortunately, you can learn to play shots, but temperament and composure comes naturally and forms a rare combination with aggression. Something that can be observed in the likes of Gilchrist, Warner and Sehwag.
