Undoubtedly, the two best teams of the competition are in the final in Australia and England who both have an undefeated record in the tournament more or less !

England are there after beating the Lankans comprehensively in their semi final :

Australia are there after beating Pakistan in a thrilling match where they snatched victory from the jaws of defeat !

Australia are going to absolutely crush England

I'm expecting one of the most one sided finals of all time

Why? Because of the Semi final match.Eng is in the best form actually in better form than Aus.I don't think it would be a one sided match.Atleast i hope to see a match similar to the last one, taking it to the last ball.

England have the edge in form, Australia have the edge in quality.

Although the vast majority of Twenty20 matches played at Barbados have been won by the team batting first, both teams have produced their best cricket in this tournament when chasing totals.

Throughout the tournament, the bowling attacks of both sides have been absolutely superb and worked together, and the respective batting lineups have revolved around first Pietersen, and then Hussey. I'm tempted to suggest that if you get your key man out cheaply then the game is yours to lose, but these batting lineups as a whole are just too good to possibly predict a result. Kieswetter, Morgan, Watson, White could affect the result to name but a few.

Heart says England, head says Australia, but I wouldn't put money on any particular result. Too close to call.

No, because

1) Match is in barbados, England have no express bowlers, Australia have Tait, Nannes and Johnson. Dibbly Dobbly bowlers like Bresnan and Sidebottom will get hit all over the place. The spin duo will also not be as effective in Barbados.

2) KP and Morgan are both due failures

3) Australia have a huge edge in fielding

4) Australia have a huge edge in the mind games

5) Australia have better depth in both batting and bowling

There are numerous players you could easily argue are 'due failures' in the Australian side and 'due successes' in the England side, and England are a fantastic fielding side too. It really is impossible to call ahead of the game, regardless of how the result turns out in the end.

come on Englandddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get the feeling that this will be a one sided affair. Aus should win comfortably.

Probably.

My heart might lean towards England today but head is very strongly saying it will be an Aus triumph.

Your head will start supporting your heart when KP will smash the air out of the Australian quickies.

It is a match between England batters and Aussie quicks.

After the Semi England would rather chase, understandable decision but could backfire.

Collingwood: The pitch looks good and I don't think it will change too much. We have some plans for the Aussie batsmen. We also have a plan B and a plan C, I only hope we can get some early wickets. We have handled Steyn and Morne Morkel well on this wicket and the guys are raring to go.

Clarke: I would have wanted to bat first as the pitch looks excellent. England have played brilliantly in the whole tournament and we have a great game in the making. I think we have had a lot more experience in T20s, we have improved a lot in T20s. Hopefully, we can disappoint the England fans.

Even 160 could be a daunting chase in the pressure of a final.

Come On, Aussie Come On.... Come On.... Aussie Come On....

:))) :))) :)))

I've just tuned in and see that England has won the toss and will bowl first. Just read a few of the posts in the thread and see that its a silly decision to bowl first by England. Is the pitch a belter?!

england have decided to bowl first due to what happened in pakistan vs australian semi. After that can any side think they can defend a total against this australian side.

So many english and Australian flags out there, should have been Pakistani flags :(

I hope we are in for a classic

Same here but I think it could be a one-sided game with Australia getting a big score and England crumbling.

If Pakistan couldn't beat Australia after posting 190 then England will need a miracle.

Jipppppiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, the idiot goneeeeeeeee

Keeper dropped it, good reactions by Swann at slip.

clarke averaging 13 with a strike rate of 75 in this tournament

Well maybe it is his day today?

Billy "The Idiot" Doctrove, umpiring the final. Was this due to his excellent umpiring throughout the T20 WC!, or that he's West Indian and the WC is in West Indies.
