So I heard that the tests are pretty much the same for both, but there is a sense of credibility with British Council in terms of being able to send one's score. Would anyone like to comment on that?

So I heard that the tests are pretty much the same for both, but there is a sense of credibility with British Council in terms of being able to send one's score. Would anyone like to comment on that?

There is a myth that AEO has a relaxed approach when it comes to giving bands.

Personally I believe in the myth based on the results over a small sample size of test takers for AEO and British Council as people appearing in AEO with visibly inferior spoken skill got higher bands as compared to people appearing in BC held exam.
