Not many are questioning his decision to carry on the ANZ tours.
We are questioning his decision to STILL CARRY ON.
How does that help the team?
It doesn't.
It just helps him retire on a high.
Sometimes you have to look beyond your own self-esteem and ego and do something for the greater good.
Not many Pakistani cricketers have ever done that.
Many people were criticizing him for going on AUS/NZ tours, there were all sorts of threads about it. But I agree time is now to retire. I think he feels partially responsible for how poorly the tours went, and doesn't want that to be what people remember of him. But I don't think touring Windies changes that. And I said it before, but I still believe he will retire after PSL and prior to the Windies tour.
