Pakistan is certainly a beloved country for those who hail from here or have family roots here. But in some point in life you have to leave your home country for something big. So being a desi and Pakistani which think you will miss the most about Pakistan in the countries abroad.

Mine would be the iconic Pakistani dishes and food. So guys share things that you will miss the most in case of such eventuality.

Won't you miss the Indian spicy cuisines abroad? 🤔

I don’t miss it, I cook myself and we get all the spices here that I used to buy in India.
So not really missing on the food part.

I do miss the occasional street food though but I visit India couple times a year to fulfil the cravings :)

As an Indian the only thing I miss after leaving India is my family and friends.
I must say one thing I noticed many middle class and poorer Indians having much more empathy, atleast that was the case in Chennai and while it had changed even when i was leaving but i remember Chennai fondly for that.

Indian food is pretty good in North America as well, plus we get everything here, I remember in north you wouldnt get southern spices and in south India northern werent as common but in US i find both lol.

Its great for Indians then did not know that before but have seen many Pakistanis making complain regarding food in countries abroad.

Food especially the Doodh Patti Chai, Chapli kebabs, Dhaba Ommlette, Desi Ice Cream Spots and Hot N Spicy Paratha Rolls.

Miss the comforts of having a Cook, Maid, Driver, Gardener at home. These people allow us to live as kings and easily help us save 6-7 hours of our time daily and allow us to have a good social life in Pakistan where you can easily end up taking out time for family/friends even on regular working days let alone weekends. In the West, the weekends easily go by doing household chores, grocery shopping, other shopping errands.

Yeah bro and I know the reason why you can't keep servants, cook, maids etc. It's just too EXPENSIVE!!

I think people abroad also miss desi weddings. Because in countries abroad you are not allowed to create great mess. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I left my native country (Bangladesh) in 2005.

I don't really miss anything other than foods maybe.

The relatives and friends, thats about it.

Other than that there is nothing to miss in this doom state.

I only wish my family had settled abroad and never had visited this hell hole of a country

It is such a shame that this is the residing feeling for so many regarding our homeland. Then again, Holy Qur’an 13:11- “Verily, AllahSWT will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.”

Don’t live in Pakistan but the one thing I miss is a smoothie drink called “phalsa”, I don’t think you can find the fruit anywhere else apart from India and Pakistan.

Even though I will never be thinking about leaving Pakistan, if i have to, then i will surely miss the friends and late-night outings. Desi food, environment of personal freedom ( even though as a nation we are slaves)

Absolutely, bro. The thing is about traditional masalas, which we cannot get outside of Pakistan.
What sort of traditional masalas? You can get just about everything where there are sizeable desi communities barring a few anomalies maybe.
