Imran Khan has been duping the K-P public for the past four years, Nawaz Sharif quips

PESHAWAR: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif Sunday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has been duping the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) public for the past four years, Express News reported.

Nawaz said the he will not hold back despite any consequences and has come out to uphold justice in the country

“He [Imran Khan] should see how the people of Peshawar have come out in my support which is a manifestation of the decision to oust me not being accepted by the public,” Nawaz said.

“I have been working round the clock to develop Pakistan but what has Imran Khan done,” he said.

“The PTI has not been able to generate a single megawatt of electricity during their reign,” the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief said.

“Imran has been duping the public for the past four years,” he said.

“The judiciary’s verdict to oust me has hampered development of the country,” he added.

In her debut address in Peshawar, Maryam said the city had decided in favour of Nawaz. “Peshawar has confirmed that Nawaz Sharif is sadiq and amin.”

She criticised K-P police for failure in Asma Rani murder case, adding that Imran Khan criticised Sindh and Punjab police forces. “But we will not condemn K-P police, they are our force,” she told crowd. “Imran Khan may be incompetent, the K-P police is not.”

Crowd is impressive but in no way an indication to what will happen on election day in Peshawar, as we have seen with PTI crowds in Punjab. PTI should win KP easily.

Its very clear that NS wants confrontation with the Judiciary. His party has been in power all these years but they are campaigning as the aggrieved party. Not a bad strategy from a political standpoint.

Yeah I'm sure not that huge as some camera angles are making it. What I was saying is even if it is a big crowd like PML-N is stating, it's not like KP is suddenly their stronghold now.

It saddens me that these same poor people are the ones that get robbed by these criminals. If NS has a problem with his wind he runs to London, if AZ has a broken eye lash he runs to Dubai, all the while these poor buggers are run piller to post to get any even the most basic services from these same people.
