An all-round performance from England saw them register a comprehensive eight-wicket win over India in the 1st T20I, chasing down 125, with 27 balls to spare.

So an embarrassment for India but as we have seen in the Test series, they are quite capable of making a comeback, so expect a strong fightback today in the 2nd T20I

Kohli should be rested for the all-important test series coming up in England. He is going through a rough patch and we need to test our bench strength. Let's do it in this series.

T20s are not about big names but game changers. Last time we went with this theory and we won the T20 world tournament. So, let's give everyone as many chance as possible.

Instead Kohli should use these relatively useless T20s to regain form at international level.

Bhai T20 me time hi kaha rehta form wapas laane ka.. He shouldn't ponder about these T20 matches, let the kids showcase their talent and he can focus on tests and next ODI World Cup.

Right now, the English have an absolute stunning top and middle order with Buttler, Roy, Malan, Bairstow, Stokes. Difficult day for Axar Patel and Saini/ Bhuvaneshkumar/W. Sundar.
Only way India can win this is to outbat by racking up a huge score and allow Indian bowlers to create pressure.
and "Win toss" for starters

Kohli should be rested from IPL which comes before WTC final and Eng tour. :inti

Don't see England making any changes. India will probably make a change or 2.

India won the toss and bowling. Game over for England...lol. Chasing under light will be easy.

Ishan Kishan replaces Dhawan

Sky replace Axar Patel

India have won the toss and have opted to field

England (Playing XI): Jason Roy, Jos Buttler(w), Dawid Malan, Jonny Bairstow, Eoin Morgan(c), Ben Stokes, Sam Curran, Jofra Archer, Tom Curran, Chris Jordan, Adil Rashid

India (Playing XI): KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Virat Kohli(c), Rishabh Pant(w), Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal

SKY gets his debut. Much deserved. Kishan impressed me last season in the IPL, let's see how he does.

Pandya will be expected to bowl 4 overs. Some pressure on him. :inti

SKY has a calmness and composure about him. Whilst Kishan has a personality and confidence about him which you need in international cricket.

Good news but in a longer run, only one of SKY or Shreyas should be in the team. Good chance for both.

Good to drop Dhawan

Tough on Axar which also means only 5 bowlers

Also why isn't Deepak Chahar playing

India's long batting lineup:-

KL
Kishan
Kohli
Shreyas
SKY
Pant :inti
Pandya
Shardul

Buttler doesn't seem much interested in this series. Why? Is something more special to him coming up next month??

:inti

Jason Roy expressing those Chittiyan Kallayyan with a huuuuuge six off Sundar!!

What is your view on B.Kumar? Should he play for us in T20 WC?

He's quality but his fitness is very debatable

I wouldn't want him to walk off during a crucial game

Happened in Pak game in 2019 WC

Chahar and Thakur offer similar to him with Thakur being better bat too

Kohli making the same mistake in team selection he makes each year with RCB - packing the XI with batsmen.

Bhuvi is a much better bowler than Thakur especially in LOIs.

Thakur is mostly cannon fodder in T20s.

India is trying many spinners this series considering T20 WC will be in India.

Averages 23 in T20I to Bhuvi's 26.9

Also better bat

Bit expensive but overall better package

No buvi death bowling is vital for india in upcoming WT20
Bumrah
Natrajan
Bhuvi
Good bowling attack

What about early wickets?

Deepak Chahar is best in that, even better than Bumrah. So we need that

For death over Bumrah and Natarajan is enough

Anyway Bhuvi doesn't remain fit

Once SIR Jadeja is back, we will be back to 5 batsman + 5 bowler + 1 Pandya rule.
