Who cares for any of these series.Another series with no value. It's like the Windies -Eng series.
Only South Africa cricket board care this 4 match T20 series brings so much revenue for them.

What is the point of any bilateral cricket - especially Test cricket with no crowds?
Test cricket is very special. We were talking about BGT from a year ago .

No one care about these T20. I don't even know yesterday that we are playing a T20 match against South Africa on 8 Nov.

Im big big fan of test cricket.

At least their is fan interest. Maybe it's because it has a history,Whereas T20 bilateral has no history and bar the Ind PK matches, no one cares
It brings plenty of casual fans in to the grounds. CSA cannot care about the memories of hardcore fans sitting elsewhere. Only ODI's and T20I's bring the crowds in SA.

And what fans were there to watch the entire Test season in Pakistan?

Most of cricket lover watched on tv, online etc.

BGT tickets are already sold out. Yes there were very less turnout in pakistan but that is not the end of test cricket.

No they don't . Is that why PCB was struggling to sell their rights for bilateral series ?

Also, just because Test cricket is doing well in Big 3 doesn't mean it's going well in other countries

What a redundant circus! That too going to South Africa all the way to play this... Although none of these players feature in test team for Australia tour, still it is a waste of time for cricket fans!

Im not able to watch this game but I hope India lose badly.

But in the off chance India win it doesn't matter because it's a meaningless bilateral T20.

Another useless, needlessly long bilateral T20 series featuring a bunch of fresh faces. The growth of T20 cricket and decline of ODI cricket has been one of the worst things to happen to world cricket in recent years. In ODI cricket there is still a significant amount of skill required to be successful and win matches, as compared to T20 where you can get by despite being a complete hack. And people who say that a T20 match is easy to watch and takes less time are the same people who prefer garbage fast-food to a nice, juicy steak at a classy restaurant.

At the end of the day any real cricket fan knows that T20 cricket is not real cricket. Just like fast-food is not real food.

South Africa Captain Aiden Markram said during the pre-match press conference:

"It's the same countries I guess, but personnel has changed for both teams. It's always an exciting series when you play against India and especially when you play them at home."

"It's a series we have always looked forward to. We have not addressed anything about it being a rematch or things like that. Obviously, a lot of talk and promotions have happened through that lens, which is completely understandable."

India already won the match against South Africa when it was really matter .

This is entertainment time for Indian fans before big series. Lets see how the young guns will perform against World T20 runner team .

Gonna be Sky special series? He tend to do well in meaningless bilaterals in this format

Nothing is meaningless financially when india is playing. Each t20 match fetches south african board 8.6 million usd from broadcast perspective alone

Let's hope for a double victory brother then for the Saffers. A chance to beat India while milking the Indian cash cow is a tantalising prospect for any side.

Am I the only one who is not a fan of playing national anthem before the start of match ?

In world tournaments, I can still understand, but bilateral series, doesn't make any sense.

I really like Sanju, but unlucky, didn't get enough chance during the initial days (2013-14) when he was too good in IPL

Abhishek gone .amd look at the Gerald Coetzee celebration its like they won the 2024 world T20.

Maybe seeing this game as revenge of WT20 2024 final . :kp

Seems like pitch is two faced.. Ball is not coming to that bat easily.

Sanju Samson has finally found his rightful position. He has shown the potential he has to open the innings and now he is showing that he deserves it. I don't think India should look for any other wicket-keeping batter other than Sanju Samson in white-ball cricket.

Lol.. The bowler feeling the pressure, now he's bowling outside the pitch..

He needs to score big to cement his place, jaiswal is sure starter once he is back and gill , Abhishek are other contender's.

Jaiswal
Abhishek
Samosa(wk)
SKY(c)
Pandya
Parag/Dube
Axar

Top 7

Actually good over by Kruger considering he bowls two no balls and 3 wides but still get big wicket of sky.

Tilak is very selfish player like Ruturaj .how does he get selected? Maybe Mumbai Indian connection

What's going on with all these new Indian players and their tattoos? Feels like they saw Kohli and thought: Ink up and you will play like a pro. :inti

Sanju Samson becomes the first Indian batter to make back-to-back T20I tons

Test - Pant and Jurel already there so no need.

But Pant is not done well in limited overs to cement his place so Samson can grab the opportunity.
Can't Samson play as a batter? Virat and Rohit have already retired from T20Is. They'll soon retire from Test and ODI as well. India will need a solid and experienced top order batter

Sanju Samson is such a humble guy. Many other Indian players are arrogant but Sanju Samson seems like a nice guy. No showoff no boasting.

Good to see him doing well.

I don't know how gill is starting over samson in T20.The striking ability of gill is nowhere close to samson who's a dream T20 player for any team barring india
